Damn, alex always acts like this in interviews, even now that he's all bolder and sassy he's still does that. And that doesn't mean he's this or that. People are always complaining about him and the band and I don't think is it fair. They are going on and on, never stoped, never took a break or all the bullshit almost every band does. My personal theory (could be totally wrong so idk) is that he was on drugs (lyrics to Afternoon's hat) near the end of favorite worst nightmare through humbug up until this date. He became lethargic and less energetic, struggled to focus and put a sentence together but now like his whole reinvented self he's able to hold a conversation better and is more how he used to be, witty and smart. Just a theory could be completely wrong....
Actually, music has everything to do with personality. I think these 2 have just got bored of the industry and possibly the band they're a part of. They've lost their buzz. Either that or they're really knackered. It happens. You, rise, you crash, you burn. You rise up again.
