I do think there will be a correction or recession. As far when? I no idea. It’s good to have a nice balanced portfolio, including cash on the side, so we are forever ready to trickle in when the crash happens.
I think a great way to handle all of the bumps (and I agree with you, there will be plenty of bumps) is to dollar cost average into a well built portfolio of stocks, and low-cost ETFs that keep the money in your pocket. It’s always confusing so you should consider working with an advisor, as they can offer insightful advice and protective strategies for your investments while guiding you through unpredictable markets. The word safely may mean different things to different investors. An advisor will identify what safely means to you.

Coming out of facing alot, I knew two things about the stock market: It caused the Great Depression, and the fastest way to make a million on the markets was to start with two million. And then the Great Recession happened only a few years later. So yeah, I wish someone had better explained it to me earlier in life. Having a good entry and exit strategy will make you succeed in the stock market.
There are actually a lot of ways to make high yields in a crisis, but such trades are best done under the supervision of Financial advisor.
