The military is for the security of a country against both internal and external aggression. Security might counts for nothing if it can't perform to appreciable satisfaction the purpose for which it was set up. So, from the look of things, I think Nigeria needs about 5 times its current size in order to be effective. As for Ghana, I presume we can send 3/4 of our current forces to UN duties and still we won't feel a pinch. What do you say?
I won’t say the military equipments of Ghana are not enough considering the population and land mass of Ghana but the question goes* is the ratio of the total Ghanaian military and population in accordance with the ratio of UN??
