I had the pleasure of attending a performance at Lufthansa Festival in London a couple of years ago, Dominique and ECJ were amazing, their music was a delight.
I used to think just hearing his voice that he was a GRACEFUL woman... The name Dominique can be used by women as well. Until I found a place where he was presented as MR Visse... His work with Ensemble Clement Janequin - especially the Josquin Desprez chansons - is stunning - a dream come true.
somebody told me that they sing sometimes with nasal voice to represent the renascence, when the people didn't have a good vocal improvement yet... it's a good theory... =P

@elvitu2 they sing with nasal voice to imitate the "musette" sound (kind of french bigpipe)
