It's easy to have such bonhomie when you live on the other side of the Caldecott. You commute in and that twitch in your nose that is disagreeable wll be gone on the way home. I used to smell formaldehyde at the Pier 15 in SF when I was on the Tugs.
It used to cue my performance anxiety. Then it would be over.
Soon it will be all over.
