fun fact about my brain processes while editing this. i wanted to make a video with both songs in it where it would change to eurydice after orpheus finished, but i decided that would be too ambitious of me because life was kicking my ass last week. 😭

oh i LOVE charles as eurydice in their first meeting & then as orpheus in hell.....& edwin as the last ray of sun im sobbing !! + "did she know?" as charles having such a strong sense of who edwin was he decided to follow him
i forget because of how good charles is at faking a smile and how genuinely happy edwin makes him that it wouldve been much easier to move on with death after people had treated you so terribly. why would you want to stick around on earth with people after that? i think without edwin, charles would still be extremely kind and loving, but he wouldve carried so much more pain rage and grief from his death :(
they are literally best friends and they are in love!!!!! the music picking up when charles is going down the steps and pulling edwin on the rope, and the shot in hell where edwins hands are shaking hits SO HARd!!!!!!!!!!!!!! theres something about the strain of it thats soooo tasty to me.
