May be I am too late but still I like to add...it was not hair of kajul that grew and gave her a feminine look ...she evolved from a tomboy character to an ultimate deva n her long hair n sari were just symbolic to that change in her character...may be rahul can get attracted to feminine type females only n her broken heart smashed that carefree tomboy type girl n changed her forever...if she didnot get in love with Rahul n find her love else where she may live rest of her life as tomboyish girl carefree, n ready to smile type...I think this film showed her getting changed n matured n becoming a different person coz of her love😊
