@burteriksson I love this movie, its just not an "A" list movie, meaning low budget. Unfortunately it failed at the box office only lasting a few weeks. When it hit video it didn't even become a cult classic since no one really talks about it.
The musical theme is amazing, still gives me goosebumps. I remember seeing this in theaters when I was 13 and it was a dark gloomy day and this movie was like stuck in my head the rest of the day it was such a surreal feeling.
I saw it in the theatre too, I was 17 and we ate some shrooms. The movie drags a bit, the score is creepy but, i like the music chosen for some scenes like Primus etc. I thought of this movie this morning bc I loved the future look of the kids room. When I looked in my daughters room she ha glowing things and coloured lights a computer chair and I had a flash of the kids room.
Turns out it's not that difficult to make one....if you can find the tubing for something you can afford. This guy did it. ua-cam.com/video/SVfWcrA7uPY/v-deo.html As far as Igor, that's T. Ryder Smith as well so....maybe he takes commissions.
Wow, I was 17 on shrooms when I saw this in the theatre the commercial hyped it up, the movie is ok. I like the kids room it reminds me of my daughters room today with coloured lights,, computer chair , gadgets and glowing things etc.
There's an interview here on UA-cam with him where he's discussing the role and what it took to get made up for it while he's out of the makeup itself. It's called something like "T Ryder Smith discusses playing the trickster" or something like that.
I liked this movie. I didn't see it in the theater, caught it on cable before work after it was in theaters, but I liked it. Trixter was kind of a cool character in a horror movie. The movie was well made though.
At that time in the early 90s Furlong was more and more become to a sad figure with starting to druge use. You can see his face was not the same after T2. He make this movie and PS2 only for money otherwise he was finished and he's film career was dropping with him down.
I love how virtually nobody knows of this movie and it’s one of my favorite B movies of all time
@burteriksson cause its not an A movie.

There's nothing "B" about Brainscan.

Yeah the main score by George Clinton was eerie and haunting good call on the music.
The soundtracks pretty good too.

Same! I was soooo jealous of how "cool" Michael's room was too xD "But wait a minute... Aren't you forgetting something?"

I love this movie! I ADORE EDDIE FURLONG💖
Me too!! Love him SOOO much!! His eyes are Everything!❤❤
Everyone talks about Scream being the quintessential 90’s horror throwback but, for me, this is the vibe I like from those days. Great flick!
Right? I think for more metal unpopular kids of the era, this Fangoria-feel is more accurate to the lived experience.
Watched this being filmed one night in my hometown of Beaconsfield QC.
malade!
This movie has an amazing soundtrack
I always wanted that bubble tower Michael had in his room. Wanted that Igor phone assistant too!
If only Alexa or Google home had an Igor voice.
I wanted his entire room

@@def0rm0 I could do without the Alice Cooper fridge but...
My favorite movie and my favorite actor - Edward Furlong, definitely best of the best.

The full movie is in the Industrial band's Offbeat Wonder channel.
I was a proper movie buff as a kid and I too loved this film.

love how even after seeing this behind-the-scenes we still don't know what T.Ryder actually looks like out of the makeup. keeps the mystery

John Connor and Skeletor.
Has this got some sort of attachment to the Horror movie Screenplay of The Mask (1994)? 🤔
It was written by the guy who wrote Se7en and Sleepy Hollow but...not sure
He wa my first crush so sad what happened to him
