Hello sir i have an important question, please help me out. If i am entered into a peace bond after a regular assault charge(without any bodily harm or weapon) and the charge has been dropped, will i get trouble in my PR application. I already got the biometric request for international graduate TR TO PR pathway, i am just worried about them refusing my file after biometrics after finding out that my fingerprints exists in police data as well because police took my fingerprints too when the charge was put on me.
My biometrics are tomorrow, please guide me something if you think it could lead to something worse. 🙏🙏 and you are providing great knowledge on youtube. God bless you!

Hi just ask in behalf of my boyfriend from us hes a us citizen 63yrs old from u.s im in canada and Canadian citizen.he had 2019 1st offense dui What should he will do to be able to come to canada pls help us.thank
Dear Parsai, I don't agree that the offense should be punishable outside as well as inside. According to my understanding if an offense, if punishable in Canadian law is an offense even though it is not an offense outside. Please correct if I am wrong.
Generally speaking, that's not correct. For example, a person is not inadmissible to Canada because of polygamy if polygamy is not an offense in their country. Needless to say, polygamy is a criminal offense in Canada. Of course, there are some exceptions such as human rights violations, etc.
Sir I was charged with 2 misdemeanour and theft over 1500 but less than 20k which was state jail felony . All happen in single night . For 2 misdemeanour I had credit time served I spend month on county and for theft I had a 3 years of probation but it was dismissed because I got deported and couldn’t finish my sentence! It all happen in untied states back in 2012 and now I’m trying to apply in Canada for work permit , it is possible that I could come or I’m criminally inadmissible
