I still remembering working with him at a summer job at the San Francisco Water Company in 1974...time goes so quickly. He always had a book called "Stage Design and Scene Lighting" with him. I remember him saying he aspired to be a stage-hand !
"What, ever, do you mean?" "As little as possible." Tom doesnt believe that he is paranoid. All of these interviews are BRILLIANT! Brilliant. There are two words that decode them : IF THEN use them together and you can see how off balanced these creatures in Hollywood might be. its like they have no sense of how algebra works.
This is crazy cool that they answer the same way with Meg Ryan to the latter question: «little» to know about them. This show is weeeeeiiiiird, but questions are really interesting and subtle and elaborate, make you want to wait for the answers.
There is something off about Tom Hanks. He says his fatal flaw is that he always laughs at the first opportunity and yet he is stone cold serious throughout. I cannot detect a trace of levity in this person.
1:22 Tom actually developed type 2 diabetes either during/after the filming of Castaway (I forget which, for the life of me, although I assume it's the former)
Tom Hanks seems so completely fake, like a well-honed, super-pleasant persona that was probably required of him by his parents growing up. That’s maybe why he’s such a good actor, because of his skill at pretence. Since seeing his galled reaction at the truth Ricky Gervais spoke at the Golden Globes this year, I get the chills every time I watch an interview with him where he automatically perpetuates this persona.
He actually comes across as a HIGHLY paranoid person. The questions must have upset him. Edit. "I have felt like a pawn in somebody else's chess game". Not paranoid at all.
Stamps are .50c and the post office is fully funded. 😂 it has been looted by other government agencies, but is a profitable and fully funded enterprise.
Dave Pw you are both fuckin room temperature IQ. The purpose is to stimulate the interviewee to feel the need to prolong the story telling of their answer. As well as lack and emotional or verbal cues and feedback. It gives you the watcher a different view on how they react to basic questions. But go on being simpletons 🥱😴
“Loving all of your kids equally.” That was brutally honest.
This is a great programme. The interviewer doesn’t mess about and the interviewee has to provide the entertainment.
I love how his DJ name "Buggy Jism" instantly popped into his mind, as if he had been waiting to be asked that question his entire life

Sad to hear that he was unable to fulfill his youthful dreams
What was he like to talk to? Did you ever drink beer together?
I learned as little as possible about Tom Hanks from viewing this segment, but thank you for participating.
It's great to see AIL back for another season. I love the updated graphics and music. Producer, Don Fedderson would be especially proud.
Thank you :)
This just makes me love Tom Hanks more!
knowledge share you angry, sweaty?
Interviews of this guy are like IELTS exam speaking examples
3:58 i like how they keep reminding me at the bottom that this is tom hanks i'm watching.
Thank you for the interview ❤️
Why is this not VIRAL?? #CLASSIC
He has got to be one of the nicest blokes in hollyworld.
This host shows more energy in the prologue than the whole interview

Tom is wonderfully clever and warm
Tom Hanks, OCD? I have more value and respect for Tom Hanks than before! Very special soul!
I grew up watching Tom Hanks films. I mean going to the driving in the 80s.
This is crazy cool that they answer the same way with Meg Ryan to the latter question: «little» to know about them.
This show is weeeeeiiiiird, but questions are really interesting and subtle and elaborate, make you want to wait for the answers.
4:30 is an interesting moment. I think one of the rules is that he's not allowed to answer any follow-up questions and he had to gather himself.
Best film in LA: Big Lebowski
Amazing
Justice for Isaac Kappy!
this channel deserves more subs wtf...
3 million views...😅😊.
.."whatever do you mean?" was my favorite part
Plan to watch all of these but this one will be hard to top. Classic steady. Selina Kansas ok
Omg Tom's face is priceless
Papa Slice 🍕. Also I love this interviewer no fuckery
Big Wednesday with Jan-Michael Vincent, William, and Gary!
There is something off about Tom Hanks. He says his fatal flaw is that he always laughs at the first opportunity and yet he is stone cold serious throughout. I cannot detect a trace of levity in this person.
Really dig this💥✌
You should do another interview with Tom this year. Might be fun, despite the pandemic and the rioting.
1:53 lmao
I wish TOM would rule the world
A therapist interviewer is very subtle! Loved it.
Best film celebrating LA may be LA Story (and yes, it should have won that darn Academy award!)
Big Wednesday .. great film
Sunset Blvd for the LA movie.
tell the audio tech to watch the levels and get a better mic and preamp
1:22 Tom actually developed type 2 diabetes either during/after the filming of Castaway (I forget which, for the life of me, although I assume it's the former)
This guy is probably some big hollywood exec's son... thats why he scores these huge interviews
Good job Tom
Reminds me of between 2 ferns
It’s woody
How is this show more popular? It should be on Netflix. Better than all the other fake BS talk shows.

that reaction was priceless lol.. so fragile. LAUGH AT YOURSELF CLOWN!
Tom is such a down to earth guy hahah
shout out to Salina Kansas!!
The best interviewer 😂😂😂
He's a funny human but I bet he's funnier with a few craft beers in him
I'd love to see him drunk, I imagine that is some funny shit. I think he might have to avoid beer because of his diabetes
China Chow is one well-liked woman! Jeeez!
China Chow is cool!
why is it so werid, did tommy wiseao direct it
The first thing you could do as a president is pass a lay for term limits for all politicians.
Why is this interview so serious?!
ive heard mr hanks believe in the single bullet (oswald only) theory regarding jfk.....weird
Did Tom have a stroke?
the audio is distracting and needs more attention
He actually comes across as a HIGHLY paranoid person. The questions must have upset him. Edit. "I have felt like a pawn in somebody else's chess game". Not paranoid at all.
I got stuck driving from Oklahoma to Omaha in Selina k's and it was small, flat and not a thing going on ..bruttle
@8:12😂🍿
Post Office? wTF?
Tom hanks is very witty.
BIZZARE INTERVIEWER I MUST SAY !! 😎
Lol to hit me
Stamps are .50c and the post office is fully funded. 😂 it has been looted by other government agencies, but is a profitable and fully funded enterprise.
They seem to dislike the internets, lol, the Hollywood types. Interesting.
Because they cant control the narrative and tell you who to vote for.
@6:33 ♟️😂🍿
1:51
Great show opening, great questions, akward interviewer.
The interviewer talks like a kid
He talks like he is dead 😂😂
Is this how an interviewer should be? CREEPY? 😒
Like “Between Two Ferns” without anything remotely funny. I’m not sure what character he is trying to play but it’s not ironic.
I cant
Everybody loves Tom H. I cant normally stand celeb interviews, but these are cool. Shout out "Boogie Jizzzim". 8:11.
...the most disturbing I've listened to
Yikes! Interviewer made me turn off an interview with Tom hanks. Hanx is great. The other guy needs taken out back and horsewhipped.
brian elliott such a freak show

Marché Noecker ok schizo.
he would fund the us postal service for a day if he were president? as if there are not even one more relevant issues at hand.. what trash
Tom Hanks creeps me out
youre right put his name on twitter and look whats being said
Mr Hanks is great...
...with a script.
I liked this show when it was called Between Two Ferns, and it was funny. This is a trainwreck. Not remotely funny.
Yes! Fund the USPS
The interviewer is just weird.. not funny.
Disappointing
I feel so sorry for Tom Hanks, this is so boring to watch.
Well it's all about the celebrity, so Tom must be boring.
Autism?
It's gonna be a wonder for this show to take off, such interesting questions and answers but it's the no elaboration that will do it in.
