I went Magnet Fishing for the First Time on the Ohio River!

- I decided to buy a 550 lb magnet and give Magnet Fishing a try. I figured the Ohio River would be a good place to try my luck.
It took some getting used to but I was able to find a few things and I'm excited to try this again soon.

I caught a magnet a couple of weeks ago with the rope attached when I was fishing for fish 😅

There are two types of fishing magnets a single sided like yours that's intended for fishing over the top from a structure or boat! The second is a two sided magnet that has the l bolt on the edge with magnets on both sides is made to drag across the bottom like your doing that's way you were just picking up small stuff on the edge! Now your a big guy but if you can't get it off of something just hook the rope around your ball hitch and go like hell!!😉

come to Dayton and fish off the Helena bridge there are a lot of taped up handles and potential murder weapons in there keep doing what you do

@@5050fishing Well with this one its def not somthing you drag behind the boat, in a 18 foot bass boat you can barely move with the trolling motor on high. in the jon boat its a great anchor lol.

Come to greenbrier county to magnet fish so much stuff in the river after the flood I've found some really interesting things just walking the banks

it follows Spring Grove in Cincinnati. Anywhere in the city, especially in rough areas, magnet fishing near bridges might get interesting
