I love newts, frogs and pond life. I remember my dad used to bend sticks, rip a pair of my mums old tights and he would make a net from them. A stick and an old pair of tights tied in a knot was our fishing nets. I think he used to call the little fish sticklebats? We would put newts and frogs into buckets and take them back home to my dads teeny tiny pond and then a few days later we would catch them in the pond and take them back.

Now you talking my thing there x, where i,m from we have loads of dykes, used to be full of newts and frog, sadly all gone now. Oddly saw some sticklebacks the other day. Love frogs to bits, have you seen their faces, some look posh, moody, grump, toads more so. did you watch pond skaters and wherlygids ?
