KALOLENI TUPENDANI, MIMI SIKU AMUWA NI ZALIWE MAJALUO. WEWE HUKU TAKA UWE MUKAMBA, WASAPERE PIA WANA HAKI KUJITETEA KAMA FDF. LAKINI KENYA NI YA WAKENYA. WOTE KUTOKO COAST NORTHEASTEN. WASTERN.,RESPECT SAMBA FOR THIS SONG. FWAYA WAS A TRUE LEADER. NI MUMANYALA.
This song reminds me of les Kinois at Jericho Social Hall in 1977 where they even got some girlfriends just because of there stage show, the likes of my neighbours at Jericho Lumumba.
Vicky for Okello Joseph and the late Shanti for Coco Zigo, may God rest there souls in peace.
@@whitewebuye8922 Hahaha let me do translation on my UA-cam channel
Pele Ondindia who participated here as a vocalist alongside madjo was a great footballer. He died in a motor accident. He played for Gor Mahia FC.
The reminds me of my late cousin the producer of the song fwaya (Chris ochuodho). The beautiful voice of samba mapangala and of course my days in jericho estate as a teenager. Quite nostalgic.
Asante Sana Darubini 2.. You are doing a good Job mostly for us guys in Diaspora who need music from home..Asante sana from Canada
buena cancion desde colombia lucho el que sabe mucho sonandola
vocals and instruments made me to sit down when I first heard the song when they visited Kendu Bay .
Darubini2 you have made my day this reminds me of leskinois bedjo mwalimu would give us time to showcase our talent at Jericho social hall with people like akina Bruce odhiambo formally of youth funds
Fwaya was the Councilor for the then Kaloleni ward. Here the solo guitar was played by Bibiley as you can hear Samba calling for him. Fataki was in the back vocalists with Madjo, Pele Ondindia. Okello Joseh was playing the rhythm and Diabanza Nicky djo on the bass guitar. Fostau Waroma aka Temopele Bosenza the cheerful drummer.
Mwidini Njuguna: You have forgotten to mention the then irresitable Ugandan on the tumbas, Kasule Mopepe. By this time Les Kinois-Bana Kin was quite extended following the demise of the then formidable Bana Ngenge. Besides Fataki Lokasa, other noticeable presence of ex-Bana Ngenge musicians in Les Kinois-Bana Kin at this point in time included Otis Mandala as well as the great bassist, Nsilu wa Bansilu Manicho. And I think Bedjo Mikombi Mwaumo had also enlisted with Les Kinois by this time.
Fostao estimate and kasule mopepe were 2 different people, fostao on the drums and kasule on the tumbas
Other vocalists, pele ondindia and madjo maduley-jericho social hall ilikuwa ina waka moto, mzee teacher, roy, shamshu na wengineo, okello jose on rhytm, niki jo base guiter, kasule mopepe on tumbas wajameni

@@mosesndungu9212
Fostau was also Temopele Bosenza a different person from Kasule Mopepe...
Love old School Congolese music. Lots of love from Canada.

Huu wimbo wanikumbusha Jericho hall wakati les kinois na marafiki zangu akina john ndua, ken muchiri, jofu la kweli miaka inaondoka
Na nimeituafuta kweli - thanx for this ...takes me back to my teenage years in Eastlands, Nairobi
Am not sure fataki lokassa sung in fwaya, lovy is the one singing the high voice, may be fataki sung in malako
Les Kinois used to be a powerhouse.....

Jericho was and still a popular estate in Nairobi. Fwaya was an elected leader there
