Waling Tour In Algiers - Les Palmiers Playground in Bachdjerrah

In this brief video, I'm filming the Les Palmiers Playground in Bachdjerrah, one of the eastern suburbs of Algiers. This park was built in a spot where an old and very decrepit apartment complex used to stand. "Les Palmiers" is French for "Palm Trees." When that apartment complex was still there, the area was downright ugly and the residents of the neighborhood lived in very small apartments and a very unclean urban environment. Thankfully, the local authorities relocated the residents of the neighborhood, demolished the buildings and rapidly developed this park (of which I'm only filming the upper part) to provide some recreational space for the residents of Bachdjerrah, a densely populated suburb of Algiers.
