EN: For Javanese people who are confused and wonder why this is called a Javanese dance but why it looked like Thai? This is actually a Thai dance influenced by Javanese dance that was born around the time of the Ayutthaya kingdom. As we know, the Thai-Javanese cultural exchange has existed since the days of the Ayutthaya and Javanese kingdoms. So this is indeed a Javanese-style Thai dance but this is not a refined Javanese dance.
The Javanese dance with the Japanese geisya dance was almost the same. Even the west art of Java and shishimai Japan was almost as good as made from wood.
Thankyou for uploading this :) Btw tarinya lucu ada kengsernya segala. Terus, musiknya ceria banget wkwk lucu sih interpretasinya. Dan kalau udah kebiasa dengerin musik/liat tari Jawa tuh agak gimana gitu hehehe. Overall, good performance :)

As an Indonesian, I love this Thai interpretation of Javanese dance! - Music: The music arrangement is light-hearted and cheerful, very different from Javanese court music, which is more solemn and meditative. - Choreography: The dance moves here are lively and girlish, something we don't see in Javanese court dance, where a female character in a dance drama can be refined and graceful, but must still remain gallant and stately. - Costume: very nicely inspired by Javanese clothing, but I find the curly end of the headpiece particularly interesting as it is usually reserved for male characters in Javanese court dances. Overall, a very enjoyable performance! 👏 Thank you, terima kasih, ꦩꦠꦸꦂꦤꦸꦮꦸꦤ꧀, ขอบคุณ ครับ 🙏 🇮🇩 🍻 🇹🇭 If you want to see what I was referring to when I talked about Javanese court dances, you can watch this video below for reference: ua-cam.com/video/LKvou02f2kM/v-deo.htmlsi=A2LKhuTZvY9D1_a1

Kok ku terbayang tari ini dri era mataram kuno dinasti syailendra, soalnya pakai musik bernada slendro (Catatan : dalam gamelan jawa, diyakini laras slendro lebih tua ketimbang laras pelog, mungkin kata slendro mirip kata syailendra)
