Probably I am bit slow/ weak in grasping the concept of margin and padding. I have been going through the margin and padding tutorial videos for quite some time. It now that I realised understood the concept of padding. I realised it is important to consider image-widget (for eg) and the image being inserted as two different entities. Till now I was considering the image-widget and the image as one entity hence the confusion. I thought I highlighted my understanding of concept of padding for people like me. Hope I am right in understanding the concept of the padding 😊.
I would have liked to have seen the initial setup, I am trying to duplicate this step by step and it appears that the two initial columns are no duplicates of the column provided in the section. When I padding the image, my right side column does not change size or even move as the right side does here at 2:10. Is that because there is an inner section widget in the setup?
Nice! I had a plugin that was a bit confusing.... but gives me more control...using the Oohboi plugin I can have a border around the padding and around the image.... Nice tutorial thank you!!!
thanks the more i watch the more confusing it is. simply because the overall content of the element should remain the same, regardless of the changes to the margin and paddings
Best 12.5 mins of my life
Learned something new ... Z index! Thanks as always
Very informative. Could you please make a tutorial and explain the PX, % EM, REM parts of margin and padding advanced settings?
