11:58 I threw up in the Yellow version of that Snoopy Lunchpal, got to go home from school n watch tv 📺. Mum gave me brothers liverwurst lunch, that was all.
Noice Superboy Treasure Comic, sweetpsychedelic Enterprise logs of Kirk, Sweet metal Flash Gordon Rack Ship, limited BSG Model Rocket 🚀! LOL! Pod Stallion buys an Action Stallion! That place was Huge! Thank you for making this!
Treasury editions, and 60s / 70s comics in general are fantastic. I had that Flash Gordan die cast as a child and loved it. I spotted Bob and Doug McKenzie in there (Take off, eh!) as well as an old friend from my childhood, Wee Willy! Also, was that Isaac? Lots of good stuff!
Enjoyed that, that 2nd store especially, aurora kar-a-a-te fighters in front of the POTA board game made my wallet whince lol great finding that action stallion, thanks Brian
You found a Spider-Ham comic in the wild. That's cool. Everywhere around here I've looked hasn't had any. Comic shops, flea markets even a local con, nothing. That was pretty cool to see. The Battlestar Galactica and Flash Gordon ships you picked up were pretty nice as well.
I had that Flash Gordon plane thanks to my mom and a yard sale, but even though I was a fan of his, was around to see it in stores and never missed an episode of his cartoon or Gold Key/Whitman comic that came out then, I only now realized that that was his. Wow, so ironic. Still, I had lots of fun pretending it was a superhero plane of someone I decided was called Blue Jay, lol. Thanks for another exciting time trip.
Seeing the Sesame street clubhouse and the playset gave me goosebumps. I really wish I had both, first toy or toys I ever had as a kid that I can remember. Vividly, probably why I'm such a action figure collector to this day at 35. Wow
Seeing the trading card display brought back tons of nostalgia. As a arcade junkie, I had tons of those Video City cards and Pacman Fleer ones. That Topps Weird Wheels set was one I recall getting at Woolco right by the checkout.
@@BrickMantooth Best part of collecting movie cards is when certain movies included deleted scenes. Return of the Jedi comes to mind; Goonies was another one that included the appearance of the mysterious octopus which never made it to the final film.
I miss the Pickering market a whole bunch, it was my childhood haunt. Some of the vendors have regrouped in Ajax at a place called Vintage Vendors not terribly far from the GO Station.
Thank you for the video! I don't ever come across antique stores in the city and right now I haven't been into a store since March 2020. So I can live vicariously through your videos and pretend to be browsing. so thank you! Which probably is all for the better because I probably have no willpower if I came across a lot of these items.
This was a very cool video, and that looks like a pretty sweet haul. There were some nice things tucked away here and there. The two big Shogun Warriors caught my eye. And the Mego ''Star Trek :The Major Motion Picture'' Enterprise bridge playset has been on my list for ages. Good stuff!!!
I can't be allowed in places like that, I'd come home broke and with a car full of crap. Also, don't know if I should be disturbed by that giant Marx army guy shooting the She-Ra dolls.
That antique mall.. incredible, nothing like it in the US. Like a fixed convention that covers diverse areas of collecting, and never ends?!? Now I want to move to Canada (well, that and America turning to shit).
I bet Brian has enough Batman & Robin & grabbed the Giant Barbie Pez and bought it “for his wife”. That thing is crazy, shoulda made come out of her mouth though.
I know you wanted that paratrooper action man or was it an action man paratroop. 42 seems like a great price with no shipping anyway. I hope u bought since you loved your Rack Spock Para-troop
I don't know how into lego and building sets you were in the 70s, but I received a gift for my birthday in 1979. They were not space legos, but it was a box set of fake legos, which were not compatible (they had a small hole in each post on top, which lego did not) and the two space men were simple plastic army men style that articulated at the legs so they could sit and the majority of the piece were black and white. The trays in the box were yellow. I cannot find any pictures of this set and have no idea what it was called, but out of everything from my childhood, that set is one of the things I don't have photographic evidence of. Do you know what they were or ever heard of them?
How much did they want for the Shogun Warriors I don't have that Red one. Besides Godzilla I have the Yellow guy along with two others. Can't seem to locate the arm that holds the sword. Just realized I had the wrong arms on two of them that can launch them heh. Sister threw out some of my missiles along with other things in box so really upset about that. I have a few of those Battlestar Galactica Dogs which were going for like 35ish. Fair amt of the Marvel comics that saw. Bro used to have the run of Daredevil but sold them. I think I have a few of those 3 inch Star Trek figures. Found a glow in the Dark Starroid Raider Aton as I melted heads of the glow in dark variants of Zbu ant Papi. I was like 3 charging them up too close to lamp bulb :).
Music takes me way back to the days of ' of all the charlie Brown's in the world , you're the charlie browniest '😃
That was the vibe I was going for.

I didn't see Isaac.
All that great stuff! We just don't have places like that, here in the UK. Frankly, I'm envious. 😄😄😄
I would spend way too much there. Holy cow.
Col. Sanders, Mounties & an Elvis. Man I’ve never seen all those
That's it. I'm moving.
Interesting indeed! They had some cool stuff
Fantastic! Broken “Dick Tracy” toy still mint on card!
Well Done!
Top Shelf!
Great Video!
thank you!
Thanks for showing all the cool treasures.
Dave has a good friend there! Surprised you didn't purchase the Love Boat board game (?!?!)
It was too high priced for me.

At about 5 minutes in, I thought that was an Action Man Henry Rollins!
It does! lol don’t know how I didn’t see that before!

Collectamundo didn’t have a Fonzarella doll? Ironic
They closed the Roadshow in Pickering, which was the only available to me via GO. The one in Barrie doesn't have a connecting bus route, which sucks.

A Mr. Clean action figure? I'm sure that was top of every kid's Christmas list that year! 😄

Thanks for the tip!
My mom still has my Star Trek records and view master items.
Awesome!
I had that version of the board game Dungeon.
any good? I saw like 3 copies on the weekend and was tempted to play it?
@@BrickMantooth it was ok. A very light version of D&d. It’s fun if you’ve never played D&d. I played it a lot as a kid.
I hit both of those places when I am in the Barrie area but did not know there was a vintage guy INSIDE the 400 Market. Fun video!
