Honestly, thinking about it, you're probably right. Just putting heroes and weapons in the Marvel Slot would hit pretty hard. And that might fix the Fabled slot too. Just make the Fabled card unique hero (like Shiyana) and everyone would be hyped to get it. Or maybe if they just keep with the ascended heroes mechanic and make those cards the Fabled cards. Heck, Levia Redeemed and Singularity are waay more rare and valuable than the fabled cards in those sets.
I believe we can look forward to Heavy Hitters - I’m sure it will spice up the game though I’m a bit skeptical in regards to Marvels if they are too rare again. I only managed to finish off UPR dragons but those were much more obtainable than any since. As long as the game remains great, I’ll keep buying and playing. Thanks for nice videos, looking fwd to ‘24! Keep it up.
Marvels are a funny thing. On one side, I loved the frequency of pulling them in UPR. On the other, It's more exciting for me to pull an angel in DTD since they are rarer (and well the art). It's not fun if they are too hard to get, but each one also feels more fun to get when they are harder to find, assuming the card is of equal quality in each instance. I do hope you can pull these new hero marvels a bit more than Iyslander from UPR. I only found 1!
If I'm gonna play Betsy I'm gonna have to make an un-sleeved deck and make sure to bring lots of greasy food and drink and let my opponents get fully tilted hahaha....
They really need to dramatically turn the print run for boxes way down if they want to survive another 4 years. I am talking less than 100k boxes per set with the option to print more if demand is there.
@@mastersetmadness Banning single cards is a better model. This model makes those marvels that were so awesome worth nothing. Everfest a set that may have another print is now 45 dollars on tcgplayer thanks to what happened to its heros. So many unplayable cards for specific hero archtypes is not good. It would be better if this was untrue.
@@neb542 I highly doubt Everfest will be reprinted. Everfest also wasn't a hero centric set. It was overprinted, not killed by LL. Also, LL is basically the banning of single cards - the hero card and weapon. Trust me, I want to see some more Ice/Lightning/Earth be available, and they probably will be. It's okay to have a break from them. However, banning a bunch of cards to try and keep the same heroes around forever sounds pretty abysmal. Rotation is a killer of card value in general, so banning/rotating some cards over others just moves around which cards (sets) lose value.
BETSY HYPE!!! 🍗🍖🍕🌭🌮🍟🍔!!!! Can't wait for Heavy Hitters!!!!

There is a lot of good to enjoy!
At the end of the day, you should do what's best for you, but I'm glad you're going to keep it going with Heavy Hitters!
Glad to hear you'll be doing Heavy Hitters
Thanks for being awesome! Looking forward to 2024!
Thank you for being awesome!
It’s going to happen next time round I can just taste it!
YES!

Would love to see some high quality full art marvel weapons with alt art on the back with the hero using the weapon.

I don't have a specific number in mind, but I agree a lower print run would be great. Or, they could send me a bunch of the extra boxes 😛
I wonder what the rarest cards in this set will end up being 🤔
I have a feeling these Marvels won't be easy to get. The question is will they continue with the "super marvel" like Levia and Singularity?
@@mastersetmadness my cards arrived today safe and sound 👍
What are you using for recording these vids?
Just a good old phone :)
these were 4 loose boxes not from the same case? no legendary?
No, it was just a terrible case! 😂
Its ok to say lss is still over printing fab. No where near as much but still to much. Fab is great.
Not a good year for fab living legend is dumb
I think the new BNR announcement to restrict Crippling Crush, CLF, Warmongers and other cards makes the format much better IMO.

I like Living Legend as a rotation model when compared to other models. I'm hopeful it will only get better.
