LOVE the last one! I use wonderland for home and work and I minimally decorate if/when I want. I also use color-coded highlighters for an easy visual guide. I use a hobonichi for memories at home. You may also consider a teacher’s planner that has MANY other options inside of that suites your job duties. Good luck!!💞
Thanks for sharing!! Yes I love my wonderland and am adjusting to needing to use two planners !
Nice to have a look and compare the planners. I do not plan. I tried it once and failed miserably. There are just too many aspects that are interesting, usable and great to use, but I need them ALL in one planner 😂 Like, love the month then the weeks, I enjoy horizontal rather than vertical, loving the habit tracker, and I could definitely utilize some of the intentional stuff from the last one, but I need all those things in one book 😅 The struggle is real and why I just avoid planners in general 😂 I do use a diary of sorts, my little blue Eccolo. It has a months in the front and weeks in the back. Usually has enough space for my daily goings on. I write after the fact though rather than plan anything for the weeks part, if that makes sense. Geez, I had a lot more to say than I thought 😊
Yes thanks friend . Isn’t it interesting how different we all are and how our brain work different ? Still adjusting to my new world at work so I’m sure my needs will evolve but I will continue to share my updates . I’m like you though I lived the habit trackers and motivational things 🤗
Thanks for the tour through all those planners! Even though I'm pretty happy with the planner and calendar that I created for myself, I'm always open to new ideas that can be modified to fit in my regular travelers notebook. So glad to see so many planners all in one place!
Thanks for watching … yes it was fun to see the differences and compare them side by side
Thank you for comparing all those planners😊! I can’t believe how many there are 😮!
Thanks for watching! Yes there are so many and each a bit different ! And these aren’t even the expensive ones!
I love planners. I work in a school setting so I think the academic planner timelines are very helpful because everything revolves around the academic year. You might find that after a year working within the school you would like an academic planner. Also because a lot of schools plan out the whole school year in August so it's helpful to have all of those months ready. Plus you get to buy a planner in July! But then I'm jealous of all the people buying planners in January! I use an electronic calendar for my appointments at work but I also have a paper planner where I set out my to dos every week. I use them both! Thanks for sharing.
Oh brilliant ! See that makes sense and I am still learning about this whole school schedule so maybe in June I’ll get a new planner for work
I enjoyed the look at the different planners. I work at school, and I have a planner I keep at work. I write down all of the work events, occasionally a reminder for an appointment or day off. I have an everyday carry/home planner that I write personal events and appointments. Each year, I go through the process of finding planners that will fit my needs. My work planner is an academic year, and my EDC is a calendar year. I would love to see what you decide.
Oh see you get it 🙌 that makes sense also maybe to get an academic year and a regular year for home … im still adjusting so I’ll keep you posted 🤗
Also, I’m an assistant as my job, so I keep my boss’ calendar in Outlook, adding in my personal times out of office to our Outlook calendars. My planner is for personal use, but I will put in important work meetings when it affects me personally (like I can not take off that day, or it is an All Staff meeting that I must attend, etc.)
Yes it will take a bit to manage two calendars
Thanks for sharing! - I use a Hobonichi Weeks for work and as a catch-all. Colleagues of mine use anything in between a teeny tiny calendar, digital planning only, and a huge A4-sized hardcover book, so my general advice for you would be to get some clarity on what exactly you need to write down for work, on the pros and cons of reduplicating information if you decide to use both a personal and a work planner, and - if you go by one planner only - how big of a planner you‘re willing to lug around. (My answers to the two latter questions were: I want just one planner, and I don’t want to lug a heavy planner around. There is work stuff I plan digitally, though.) Would love to see what you decide on in the end!
Yes yes yes ! Thank you! I chose one to try for work and I chose a very simple one for home - not sure I want templates but will try it ! Awesome information to consider ! I’ll keep you posted !
10 😳! TY for this review.
Thanks for watching!
First and foremost, I am so NOT a planner person. The very thought of having to write down that I need to go to the "market" (we say "store" here in the South) makes me scratch my head and say, "Whaaaattt?". But I watched this just to see how the other half lives. So many thoughts ... but it all boils down to this:. We all know you are creative, talented, and indecisive. Why don't you simply make your own planner? You could control every aspect from the size, to the brightness of the paper, to the layouts, to the amount of space in which to write, to the tabs on the sides, to having inspirational quotes or not ....ad infinitum. It would be perfect for you. It's a big task but if you started now, keeping a file on your computer as you go, by next year you would have created your very own perfect planner! Reading back over this, again as a non-planner, I actually don't know if I wrote this in all seriousness or tongue-in-cheek, lol! Probably a bit of each. Whatever. I hope you find the one that makes you happy. Merry Christmas! 😂😊
Haha thanks - yes probably a possibility … maybe for next year. I always scratch my head when people create new planners thinking there are already so many but yet they are all different 😂 and yes little things make a difference … I’ll keep you posted !
I definitely want to see which one you chose. I make my journal/planner and combine my tasks with memories. However, I'm a SAHM so I don't have hourly plans. Im sorry I am no help to you🤦🏻♀️ I enjoyed the reviews though🥰🥰
Thanks for watching! Yes everyone’s needs are a bit different and can change so I’m finding it fun to reassess what works for me
