What do wasps sound like?

Turn up the volume to listen to the amazing sound that wasps make when they are busy constructing their nest. It sounds like tapping in the wall and their have been occassions where our customer has called a plumber to investigate the sound of water dripping inside the wall. In this video the paper wasps are building a nest inside the wall behing the boards. Only the nest entrance is visible but the sound can be heard inside the wall at least a metre along from the nest. They are using wood scrapped of fences or sheds or even trees to create paper that they weave into a nest. Wasp nests like these have been found in Basingstoke and Newbury. Due to the location of this nest directly over the fron door it needed to be treated to ensure they safety of the people in this house.

I have a question can you do this in increments of like 20 seconds and then stop because I am trying to figure out what is going on inside of my walls. It’s driving me nuts because I’m afraid it’s termites.

For me it honestly sounds like a nail drill inside of my wall. It will start it on the right side now it’s on the left side. I have no idea what is going on.
