Prof. Ahmad Rafique Akhtar (Born: 15 April 1941) is The Mystic of this Era. He is a notable Islamic scholar and a humble teacher of Mysticism in Pakistan. He has been associated with teaching for years. He started delivering lectures on different Islamic and philosophical topics and this eventually grew to such an extent that he had to travel all over the country and different places in the world. Many of his lectures have been published in books. He is a specialist in the concept and understanding of God. He says: I did not choose Islam as a religion; I chose it as an intellectual choice and have found it to be the most balanced and internally coherent ideology, and this I would like to convey to people.

Amazing. Kindergarten kid jumped in front demanding to answer. I have seen in a sitting a mufti Saheb was asked to answer some queries to explain. Mufti Saheb gave time to let the speaker finish his details. One person who was sitting next to Mufti Saheb intervened and gave his solution about the question and looked at.mufti Saheb as saying you were still thinking and I solved the issue. Mufti Saheb after sometime only in his bayan explained the behavior of sahaba ikram that when the prophet (pbuh) asked them a question to answer they used to reply Allah and his measenger knows better. Today seeing professor Saheb disposition and accommodation of this interjection reminded me what I saw about 65 years a go. Mashallah professor Saheb jazak Allah. Fear of Allah makes one close to Sunnah and tolerance. Jazak Allah. For in presence of Professor Saheb remember please. Min foqe kulle ze ilmiN Aleem. When Allah has given us ability to speak then realize how much he tolerates us al-jaheloon. One should hold the self empty to get a considerable fill. It is difficult. Plz realize if nabi Musa wold have kept his silence with Mr. Green, we may have learnt more about our own future and end of times today.... 2 ears and one mouth we all are given.
