The Pfizer shots and booster all nearly killed me. I lose 2 days of my life per shot, laying in bed with 101 fever and rapid shallow breathing, chills and odd stabbing pains in my abdomen and thighs. I get the massive swollen glands in my armpit and can’t raise my arm for days.
For my healthy tripple vaxxed BF the first one was the last one: he passed away from a sudden heart attack a month after the booster.
The best way to maintain your immunity is to be repeated exposed to virus. So throw away your masks and hug as many strangers as possible.
The fact that the moderna boost is full dose (100ug) in this study versus a half dose(50ug) which is the acutual dose people will receive. This almost invalidates the moderna boost graph results in this video, it is concerning because It is difficult to make a decision based on something that may be inaccuarate.
When I got the first 2 doses of the pzifer vaccine, I had minor aches and pains, headache, and chills which went away within a few hours of getting the vaccine. However when I got the pzifer booster and flu shot, I was miserable, all of those side effects were so strong. Aches and pains, and headache was horrible and lasted for a couple of days for me. Never want to go through that again. Was horrible.
The question everyone is asking is "if you get it after you are vaccinated does it negate the need for a booster jab?"
Please explain the myocarditis risk for young men, specifically regarding boosters... if you can. With many thanks.
Please talk about aspirating or drawing back when injecting the vaccine. If it’s injected into the bloodstream it increases your chance of myopericarditis. The deltoid is a muscle that needs a blood supply and therefore has blood vessels. Aspirate to vaccinate!
My question is the virus is changing and the change is in the spike proteins, this is why Delta was so bad as it was different from Alpha. Delta seems to run its course and now it’s other variants coming our way. So why get Alpha boosters for a virus that is no longer around.
Vitamin D ....boost immunity every day. Mind your weight. Don't eat junk foods much. This is a start. Do this and the stats are in your favor.
I had Moderna shots. My booster was a half dose. I had very mild reactions to all three shots. However I felt the booster the most. I spent a day resting on the couch, drinking tea and napping. Mostly fatigue, some aches and chills. Felt 100% better the next day.
If this is A worldwide pandemic why whould you have
multiple Companys
with different vaccines instead of compiling data and going with what really has Best efficacy rates.
Thank you, Meccram !!!
**** Could you Please make a video on the myocarditis & related risks with Moderna, and how 3 Nordic countries ( Sweden, Norway, and Finland) have suspended Moderna for people under 30 ( in Sweden for men AND women that age.)****
How safe is Moderna for women in their 40's and 50's? ( Concerned re: myocarditis, blood clots, etc.)....but I'd LIKE to get a Moderna booster, if safe enough ( I got J& J initially.) THANKS SO MUCH !!!
I took AstraZeneca then three-four months after I took the Pfizer and now six months after I got the Moderna booster but this so far is the worst symptoms ever fever and headaches that won’t stop
it doesn’t make sense to me to mix and match the vaccines
You may very well have the only doctors handwriting that is understandable in the entire world. Thank you for all you do.
I've already survived Covid in August of this year. Tell me why I should get a vaccine if I
still show antibodies? Honest question.
As I understand it you can still catch covid 19 even after having a covid vaccine therefore on that basis when your antibodies start to get weaker you stand a good chance of catching it again, well that's a lay man's logic.
Even if you dont have enough antibodies, T-Cells are far more important, because they last longer (maybe for years) instead of few months. Antibodies decrease naturally, they have to. Doesnt mean your not protected anymore
How would you extrapolate Moderna boost as a half dose?
I got the J&J vaccine and all I had was a sore arm for about 4 days. (no flu like symptoms) I'm very apprehensive about getting any of the boosters. (not opposed ,just apprehensive)
Many 💉 people I know are ill after being injected. Those drug free, are fine. What's going on?
Is there any known quantitative correlation between IgG biding antibody levels and effectiveness in real-world studies? These graphs show that J&J boosted with a second J&J is the _worst_ of the IgG antibody levels. And yet, J&J's research showed that giving a J&J booster two months after an initial J&J shot gave 94% (give or take) effectiveness against symptoms for the dominant Delta variant. So, while mix-and-match boosting gives great IgG levels, in practice it might be unnecessary overkill. Also, how do we know that the effectiveness of the Pfizer and Moderna boosters won't fade like the original shots did?
I want to see the results of people who had COVID, then got fully vaccinated, then got boosted and compare to non-boosted.
I got covid. Had it pretty bad and now I am boosted with problems lasting months long.
My wife and I took the Pfizer series for a number or reasons. #1- Pfizer started research on a vaccine earlier than other providers, #2- After the first dose, we experienced no adverse side effects. #3- After second dose, I had no side effects, wife experienced the normal headache plus nausea. So, we opted for the booster shot and experienced zero side effects...no headaches, no nausea. I am a high risk person so it was imperative that I get vaccinated. So far, no ill effects from the booster and it has been 3 weeks. That is my testimony at this point.
Amazing how you take a complicated subject and make it sooo easy to understand ... wish you were my chem. Bio .anatomy prof in college ...
What about aspirating the needle no one does it here in the United States? Ty
Question - if the J&J is an adenovirus vaccine and Pfizer, Moderna are mRNA vaccines, is there any benefit, such as, for example, a different type of immune response, that if mixed would theoretically give you broader immunity? Is this something that is measurable?
Excellent breakdown. Thank you for these informative videos.
It's been over a month - any update on the missing data? Also wondering if there is a new video or any results from using the actual Moderna booster dosage, instead of results using double the dosage.
Thanks for another great video Doctor. Amazed at the clarity and level of detail and presented in a way that folks with not too much scientific knowledge can understand.
Thank you for this. Looking forward to followup with new info in the future....!
It would be interesting to know how the data relating to the half dose moderna boost pans out
Good info. Thank you. I took a 3rd dose Moderna in Aug as I'm immune compromised, and my paper says .50 dosage .Does not say micro grams..just .50 .I'm wondering if I was given half dose?
Great job! ...all the information I didn't know I need.
Nobody mention like the military does when you get shots you're required to do about twenty push-ups afterwards to work this medication into your arm muscles, and practice at before bed and the next morning as well, I'm surprised nobody said anything about that? I'm former military 12 years previously and this was a common practice and basic training
The booster is the same as the original first doses which were supposed to work for the original corona. Now that the virus has mutated several times, how can the booster fight the new variants?
I've had the Pfizer vaccine and booster. Never had any side effect exclusive of soreness at the injection site (worse on the booster as the jab was aspirated). Makes me wonder if I generated any anti-bodies.
Can we compare immunity among people who had Covid and recovered, vs people who are vaccinated, vs vaccinated + booster?
They should also do this study in the video but with natural immunity AFTER vaccination like a booster
This!
Great presentation-- thank you.
Greatly appreciate this information. Many thanks.
Excellent. Any information with astra zeneca ?
I would love to hear from those who originally got the J&J but are now either considering or have already gotten a booster from one of the others.... and if you had any side effects. thanks
When can we get similar info on the Moderna 1/2 dose booster? This info is helpful but will results be as robust for the Moderna 1/2 dose?
My question too. If it's not whats being used, it doesn't apply to us much.
I can attest to the mild reaction having originally gotten Moderna and now having had the Pfizer booster. Thankfully, all I felt was a sore arm. I found it strange because I was totally floored by Moderna both times.
Thanks for info; I agree about Moderna
Yep i had 2 Modera and just got a phzer boost 💪
I had the Pfizer vaccine in March/April, both times only with sore arm for 12 hours. I went to run my errands and then to bike at the gym 4 hours after my vaccination
This is good information and I appreciate the work. In my case you are recommending Moderna but this is with the full dose. Is there anyway of knowing how this data sill change with the half dose? ( I had Moderna originally) Otherwise it might be better for me to get Pfizer.
I had 2 x AZ because that was all that was available at the time. I followed with 2 x spaced full strength Moderna boosters. I am in perfect health and have never had COVID to my knowledge. The only significant reaction I had was the first AZ - that was a shocker. The first Moderna produced a mild reaction that lasted a week. I’m so grateful to be protected, take vit D and get sunlight every day. If you have a positive mindset about vaccines, you will bounce back and do exceptionally well.
OK Thank you for the video. I loved the data and results of those boosters, but I will love it more if you can presenting the Moderna half dose booster data and result. I am very sure many commenters here are also wondering and have the same thought like I do.
A better question to ask is how many boosters should you take
Still too early for long term effects comparison.
Following and Definitely waiting for an update on this paper after it has been peer reviewed 🎉
I had Moderna, the third Moderna booster didn't give me any side affects, almost like nothing.
I got my first vacccine which is Moderna exact 7 days today, base on my experienced after first day of the shot l only felt sore half of my arm not the full arm, and then the next day it's totaly gone and felt nothing at all. My 2nd dose is on 27 this month. God Willing
Does the severity of reaction have any relation to the level of protection? My second Shingrix shot kicked my ass for a week, but I did not have any significant reaction a week later to the 3rd Pfizer after two Pfizers.
what about aspiration before injection ?
Thank you for this important info!!
Well presented, thank you!!!
no offense, but I don't think most people care about having a fever or a headache after the booster shot, even if it lasts a day or two. I want to know which combinations of vaccines is the safest. Like which combination will likely give me organ damage, blood clots, or cancer.
What I'm basically reading here is if you had been vaccinated by Moderna or Pfizer you can get a Moderna or Pfizer booster and your approximate rate and type of symptoms, as well as your improvement in efficacy against COVID, are roughly the same. It also shows (of course) that a booster is recommended no matter which of the 3 you originally had.
After taking the booster vaccine how long will it take to be protected? 2 weeks ?
Curious, what is the name of the application you use for drawing when you're explaining things?
As soon as you become aware of a study I'll like to know about protection for those whom had a breakthrough infection. As of now I'm assuming my breakthrough infection essentially counted as my booster.
This is another excellent breakdown that is very helpful in weighing risk versus benefit. Thank you!
Please share insights on kids 5-11 vaccine . Thanks
Excellent video, exactly what i was loooking for to make my own decision.
Here in Netherlands they decided not to give boosters yet except vunrable which appearntly does not include me even tho it previously did, now cases on the rise and im getting fed up.
Thanks for the update. It helped me to make my decision on booster shot.
Not sure focusing on just antibodies covers the whole picture does it? Any studies looking into adaptive immunity (such as T and NK cells) between the different vaccines?
Yes you are right. T cells are important. Need more information
Thanks so much for the informative video!🙏🙏🙏🌷🌷🌷
I've been researching to discover which booster is best. I was initially vaccinated with Pfizer, so now I think sticking with Pfizer is a promising idea . However, after my 2nd vaccine I had all the malaise, fatigue, & myalgias along with a pretty profound allergic reaction. The reaction at first was limited to the arm, with localized urticaria & pruritus, soon to follow with systemic reactions, mostly, again pruritus. What I can't find in the literature is that does that reaction prohibit me from taking the Pfizer booster? Thanks for this no-nonsense, succinct, & straight to the point video.
This is great information, thank you very much Dr.!
If I am reading this right, even in 3 months the vaccine efficacy drops significantly. How much drop may not be known by just this study but it seems very significant.
I’m in a bind. I’m healthy and 63. I got pfizer in January and February, and a full dose of moderna in May. Now it’s mid November and I don’t know what to do
As usual very good analysis and breakdown. Thank you. I live a country where we use Astra-Zeneca/Oxford. Is there any date about mixing with other vaccine as booster? Or why AZ not included in the study? Thank you.
This is all very interesting but here in the UK we don’t have a choice!
So I got a Pfizer vaccination so is it safe to assume that wether I get the Pfizer or Maderna booster doesn’t matter that I will have the same rate of efficacy?
How long does this BOOSTER vacc last?
Will a longitudinal study have to be done to with the same test subjects using the same protocols to determine the efficacy of both B and T memory cells responses both qualitatively and quantitatively.
I had Pfizer. Second shot I had a severe reaction: sore arm, headache, high fever( 103.1) nausea. I was in bed for more than two days and I couldn’t even drink water.
I just had the Pfizer booster two days ago: I still have fever(101.3), strong headache, nausea, lack of appetite, swollen lymph nodes in my armpit.
My husband didn’t have any side effects. They told me that I have a very strong immune system.
Excellent. As always I can count on Medcram for unbiased quality (and statistical) info as well as analysis of those stats.
Have you updated for the 2nd booster?? What if you were very symptomatic after each vaccine? First was horrible... 2nd and booster not as bad.
Why has the Novavax not been approved yet?
I’m in the trial. I’d love to know why it’s not approved. They’re telling us 2-3 months out for a booster. Not sure if I should wait or drop the study and get an MRNA booster
Thanks Roger!
What about sinofarm? We have no choice in IRAN and we had to get vaccinated just with sinofarm😔
Thank you Dr. Seheult for show this graph of us your study. I had mild headache and could not get out of the bed for a day with 2 dose of Moderna. This one make me feel better for the booster of Moderna or Pfizer.
well what about those whove taken the sinovac vaccines? what should they use as a booster? Would appreciate your advice! thanks
Yes me too for Astra
The study is for 100ug Moderna but your only getting 50 with the booster? How is this actuate at all???
Why are boosters being considered using the same vaccine formulations that were targeted at the original virus, rather than an updated formulation that is targeted at the variants, in particular, delta?
Excellent explanation and very informative even for people who aren't scientists.
I didn't see any info on the rate of myocarditis for each booster.?!?!
thks for all...
Thank you for the informative video, Sir.
Do you have any updates on this data on going from Moderna to a Pfizer booster yet?
I’m in the NovaVax trial. I’d love to know why it’s not approved. They’re telling us 2-3 months out for a booster. Not sure if I should wait or drop the study and get an MRNA booster now.
So helpful, thank you!
Are boosters necessary? This is all really confusing 😕
thank you for the very extensive info. i came to your channel before i decided to get the moderna vaccine. i have a very good question, can you get some findings on if someone can still transmit / spread covid after receiving a booster shot?? and if yes what are the chances and severities. thanks for your excellent knowledge
Unfortunately most people do not have access to do blood test. My daughter and her husband had this disease both of them maintained excellent levels of antibodies this is a year after the illness. Plus they took the vacc. I would advice people to keep track of their antibodies if you are smart. It is your body .
Well I got the JnJ and I guess I’m going for the Moderna booster.
Please can you review the research on aspirating vaccines for covid
Dr. Seheult, thank you for enlightening all of us. 🙏 God's Blessings!
What would be recommended as a booster if you had Astrazeneca first ?
