I've become so numb to this nonsense, you guys. More than a year of Trump, before and after the election, has drained me. What was it like, before the Trump? What was it like to have a professional in the White House? Someone who was eloquent, diplomatic, fair? Someone who didn't threaten everyone, or whine on Twitter when he didn't get his way, or associate with racists and conspiracy theorists? What was it like to have a commander-in-chief who wasn't a traitor to the nation he was elected to serve? I know that This Is Not Normal. I have it posted on my desk, just to remind me. I know it. But it's been so long under the Trump regime - or seemed to be so long - I have trouble remembering what "Normal" feels like.
