Close to Ioannina is arguably the most beautiful mountain village in Greece, called Pápingo. It's in the Zagori region, a microregion full of gorgeous stone villages and amazing nature. It's also home to Vikos Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. It's a must see, don't miss it you are right next to it!

A very handful tip. If by accident you sit to a restaurant or tavern and the portions are huge you can actually after the meal ask them to pack what you didn't eat. The owners or even the waiter will gladly do it as it's actually best for them to just carry empty plates to the kitchen rather than to have to dispose of the food.

Ah, Ioannina, where I studied for a while. A very beautiful city and not the usual type one expects from Greece. Old town, castle, medieval museum instead of ancient, a lake instead of the sea, etc. Unfortunately it's more rainy there than the rest of Greece and you happened to visit in one of the more "autumn-like" May in Greece for decades. Cool video anyway!

Greece is heaven. Gabriel Traveler who traveled over 80 nations, and many other vloggers have Greece as their most favorite country on earth. I hope that you had a great time just in your short moments. Greece has so so much to offer. It's incredibly diverse and with incredibly diverse I mean so many incredible different types of beauty. Its's 80% mountains snow-capped in winter and spring, 16.000km of the most crystal clear coastlines in the world, extremely complex geography and topography, highest biodiversity in Europe, 15.000 caves, 400 wetlands, 800 natural hotsprings, some of the, if not cleanest rivers in Europe of which some rivers are stated to be the cleanest, among which Acheron, Voidomatis, Aoos, etc. Or endless gorges among which the longest in Europe (Samaria) and one of the 3 deepest in the world (Vikos). and so on. Or one of the 2 most important birding places in Europe with lake Kerkini, And then 6000 islands each unique around the incredibly diverse mainland making Greece truly a jack of all trades. Its a mountain and sea heaven, a nature heaven, a botanic heaven, bird heaven, and hikers paradise
On the way back if you're going to tour the northern Greece, you should definitely visit Edessa waterfalls, Pozar Hot Springs, Naousa Saint Nicolas Grove

The Volos is in the 10 largest cities in Greece, the City of Volos it's a beautiful place who is connects Sea and Mountain! To the Kastoria I was made my first road trip with a car as driver!

Awesome! We're looking forward to going back to Greece this year. By motorhome it might be a bit more restrictive (no island hopping!) but we're curious how it will be especially during the shoulder season.
Hello. You just had a small idea from Greece. Hellas is a beautiful country. You should visit in the summer period Halkidiki, it's amazing believe me. Good road's...
The ice cream actually doesn't have baklava but another greek/middle eastern pastry called kadayfi. Also the quality of water in mainland Greece is excellent and drinkable. On the islands not that much.
Thanks for your comment! We would love to get to the islands one day so that's good to know. Yes, one ice-cream was baklava and the other kadayfi. 🍦 Thanks for watching! 😊

Just a note on starlink. Youre right, the power consumption is a problem. We have 400w solar, a 50a b2b charger and a 200ah lithium battery and we still have to monitor constantly. Its usually using around 8 amps. Its not something you can just leave on and forget about except maybe in the middle of summer. And not only that but it takes around 5-10 minutes to boot up fepending on how its feeling. The speeds are fantastic all over europe though and it works while driving even though we dodnt pay for that option. Its also fantastic not to worry about sims in each country. Mixed feelings but it is great for work purposes. Otherwise i wouldnt bother i domt think
We keep thinking about starlink but the power issue is a real concern. Also for most of Europe we sortof have local sims figured out and it's still way cheaper than a starlink subscription. But like you say if you work and need consistent, reliable data it's probably the way to go. Thanks for your feedback.
Very nice video! Ioannina is such a beautiful city, I' ve lived there for a year. But for me, the most beautiful city in Greece is Thessaloniki(my home town). If you have time you should definitely visit. Hope you have a great time in our country!!!❤
Epirus is a very difficult region to begin your journey to Greece. Start with Macedonia and there you can visit Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki at summer. Then visit Crete and Athens. In spring visit mountain Olympus and Peloponnese. Then you need 2 lifetimes to visit all the islands 🤭 Καλά να περάσετε και καλωσήρθατε!
🤣 Yes, we need more time!! 🇬🇷 Thank you for your comment and suggestions. We are thinking about 2-3 months next time so choosing the right season is important! 😍
yea is very "difficult" just the best lake in Greece in Ioannina, by far the most beautiful river-springs in Acheron and the amazing beaches in Parga and Syvota and around...

Thank you! 😃
You drive from Kalapaki to Ioannina you passed the Vikos and the bridges of the Zagoria. I dit not seen them at all. WHY, where are I looking at. Eating, shopping and laundry! WHY 😮🤔 Greece is beautifull, let seen it. ♥️🇬🇷♥️😎
Well, this is life. Every now and then you have to eat and do laundry 😉Besides, you can't see everything in one go - we always leave more for later. And there will be a later.
The next time guys when you through the Greece you must went to Kastoria and surrounded places and the beautiful lake.
The Kastoria is the one of my suggestions, the other is the Volos city on Thessaly Region who is in the same region with Meteora!
The Volos is in the 10 largest cities in Greece, the City of Volos it's a beautiful place who is connects Sea and Mountain!
To the Kastoria I was made my first road trip with a car as driver!
Thank you for your good suggestions, we have marked them now for next time! 👍 Thanks for joining us! 😊
I ❤ Greece 😊 Thanks Lisa and Andre 🎉🎉
Feeling blessed to visit Greece/Hellas Greece

Thank you very much!
Arrived in Greece ❤, I would have gone straight to eat somewhere. Everything tastes very good there and the people are surprisingly (TR) fraternal and very warm.❤❤❤
Yes, some great food! And people!
New sub here....purely because Greece is my goto holiday place but never done it by motorhome....yet! ❤
Awesome! We're looking forward to going back to Greece this year. By motorhome it might be a bit more restrictive (no island hopping!) but we're curious how it will be especially during the shoulder season.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO GREECE HAVE NICE HOLIDAYS
Hello.
You just had a small idea from Greece.
Hellas is a beautiful country.
You should visit in the summer period Halkidiki, it's amazing believe me.
Good road's...
Thanks for the tips!
καλώς ήρθατε στην ελλαδα!!!
Thank you! When are you heading off on your summer adventure? We might make it to Jagodina at the beginning of June...
@@WeWillNomad If it's beginning of June I'm still here I hope I will go after the 10th but kids are in school until 20th of june. Will try to steal a day or too but probably I'm here!
Great, we'll let you know closer to the time! Happy planning so long!
Close to Ioannina you got Perama caves, don't miss them, they deserve the visit
Thank you, we will visit them next time! 👍😊
Next time you come to Greece i can tell you some heavenly places.
Thanks for coming in our country
Thank you for watching and for your welcoming comment!
At 18:06 the correct way to say it is like Andre did.
Thank you, now we know! 👍
Have fun in our country!
Thank you very much! 😍
Island Euboea(Evia) is very nice, has beautiful beaches, nice places and tasty food.
Good tip for next time, thank you!
I like how you try a ice cream in each new area 😂 that’s the best part of being on holidays

@@WeWillNomad I'll beat the horn on my car if I ever see you in Crete!
Very nice video! Ioannina is such a beautiful city, I' ve lived there for a year. But for me, the most beautiful city in Greece is Thessaloniki(my home town). If you have time you should definitely visit. Hope you have a great time in our country!!!❤
We were heading there but the weather unfortunately didn't play along this time.
You should also visit Kastoria a lake town also near to Ioannina!!! Also a beautiful place
Thank you for the great suggestion, it looks beautiful! Another one for our list for next time 👍 Thanks for joining us! 😍
Villagers of Ioannina City - Age of Aquarius (Full Album)
wow thank you for that. ❤ Never heard of them before and it's incredible.
καλώς ήρθατε στην Ελλάδα ελπίζω να περάσετε τέλεια
Welcome to our country!!!
Thank you!
Say Hello to Ioannina-Derbiziena-georganni .. nice trip
Baklava ice cream... super
Hello there! 😋
Epirus is a very difficult region to begin your journey to Greece.
Start with Macedonia and there you can visit Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki at summer.
Then visit Crete and Athens.
In spring visit mountain Olympus and Peloponnese.
Then you need 2 lifetimes to visit all the islands 🤭
Καλά να περάσετε και καλωσήρθατε!
🤣 Yes, we need more time!! 🇬🇷
Thank you for your comment and suggestions. We are thinking about 2-3 months next time so choosing the right season is important! 😍
yea is very "difficult" just the best lake in Greece in Ioannina, by far the most beautiful river-springs in Acheron and the amazing beaches in Parga and Syvota and around...
Thanks for those great suggestions! 👍😊
Welcome to Greece! Come to Crete.
Thank you! We would love to visit Crete 😍 Thanks for joining us!
Because I am from Greece the gyros now with 3 euro is very expensive 2 years ago it was at 2,00 euro
We actually found prices all over Europe has gone up quite a bit the last year!
Glad you liked Greece. Did you came to Larisa?
Unfortunately we only had a very short time in Greece but we'll be back soon. Thanks for the comment!
