Most of my earliest memories in life as a child are MS-DOS games related and this along with DOOM II and MK3 were the best, badass music for a too of a badass game.
I used to play Duke on a commodore 486 laptop with 20MB of RAM I think. It was a beast for it's time to be honest, ran DooM as well. The only time it would shit itself is during the bonus level "Spin Cycle" because there were too many sprites to render. Being a kid though I eventually recked it and virtually killed the OS so it wouldn't run games anymore.
I used such a computer in 2011, now half a year ago I bought a computer with motherboard asus p8z68vpro, processor intel i7 2600, ram 16gb ddr-3 1333mhz and amd sapphire nitro rx 5708gb graphics, I don't need anything better and stronger than this one, this computer will use for the next 20-30 years. Because it spins everything without problems. Today's computers are garbage, so I don't want to go anywhere with this one. This computer I have is better than all the ones today and of better quality because the intel i7 2600 is the best processor of all, I play u4k games on ultra and everything works

I got it to fire up on a monochrome 66mhz laptop, levels took a sec to open but it was fine!
