Sometimes you can see the future coming. A few years ago, it was obvious that Ronisia had the voice and the charm to be the star performer she wanted to be, but breaks don’t always happen. That changed when “Atterrissage” began its rise. A suave rhythm, a plaintive delivery, and a massive hug from the TikTok community - in a matter of weeks we all knew that the French R&B singer was gonna be with us for a while. Since, the 21-year-old, who was first heard by French producer Christopher Ghenda and started things off by acknowledging a classic with a cover of Nelly and Kelly’s “Dilemma,” has become a must-hear part of France’s music scene, performing with Wedjene, collaborating with Joé Dwèt Filé amd Tiakola, and releasing a string of irresistible songs that includes “Toxic,” “Dans ça,” and “Doucement.” The relationship between Ronisia and her growing legions of fans is deep, and they’re going to love the singer’s Artist To Watch versions of “Bonita” and “Atterrissage.”
