for more context of haato and haachama, haato started shy and soft spoken, as time goes on she became more wild and energetic. fans started joking haachama killed haato due to how different she became. when she was closing on 1 million subs, she started a month long psychological horror series about split personality. it's still one of the best vtuber content I've ever seen.
@@蔡民傑-t7y Oh, the month long horror thing just terrifies me. I’ll admit I never watched Haato though, don’t know JP, and I used to be a niji fan until… you know.
Nice to see you getting into the game. One of Bae's skills increases her crit at the expense of damage, as you level it up the penalty to attack decreases (till 0). It doesn't add more crit each time you take it. (skills are modified when levelled, which is different to weapons which gain the listed stat/ability) Also you might want to check the achievement list, there are a bunch of weapons you haven't unlocked because they have specific unlock conditions. (like play character X for 10 mins, like unlocking the idol song from playing IRyS) As for songs, check out Q by Calliope Mori and Gawr Gura, it's animated by the same person who created Holocure (and there's a ref to the mv in stage 1)
I hope someone mentions that you can manually enchant weapons with anvils even if they have no enchantments, also you can use the anvil enchantment option to reroll pre-existing enchantments if the one you got is not what you want
Well because you wanted to learn more about Hololive and I've been in this rabbithole for 4 years now, I guess I'll write you something about my favorite girl Akai Haato aka Haachama. If there are any other Haatons feel free to add to this or correct me. Akai Haato is a member of Hololive Gen 1. She is well known for her english streams, cooking streams, ASMR and big Minecraft building projects. Her personality is bright, extroverted and easily exciteable. She is one of the only japanese talents who make english streams on a somewhat regular basis, even before the official english branch debuted, which led to her gaining the inofficial title as HololiveENGen0. Her fanbase are the Haatons, yellow pigs with stitched on heads, because she used to threaten her viewers with decapitation when they made her angry. She will also affectionately refer to them as Senpai. Being one of the early members of Hololive she started out with a Tsundere-ish personality and being quite the pure idol, to the point that management pointed to her as a good example for how to act. After a while she started shitposting a lot and acting more erratic on stream, embracing the craziness and also enjoying being seen as a crazy girl. As an example she ate super spicy ramen on stream once as a punishment, which made her puke on stream. Around a year after she changed direction into her new crazy persona people would often joke that the pure and innocent Akai Haato was gone and only the chaotic Haachama remained. Haachama clueing in to this made one of the moves I will probably respect until the day I die. She took the meme and incorporated it into her lore starting an arc known as coexistence. She would start making "Haato streams" again, roleplaying as the calm and pure Akai Haato, always seeming panicked when someone mentioned Haachama and saying she doesn't remember things. That whole storyline was very trippy and I encourage you to look into it further. It essentially framed her to be some sort of eldritch goddess with two personalities fighting for control when deep down they wish to coexist. This has been so impactful her kit in Holocure is referencing coexistence a lot. Now a few years after coexistence she settled back into her own sense of normalcy. I will forever love her for doing what is fun in the moment and also being the first Hololive member I was able to watch in english back when the overseas hololive experience used to be clipwatching and reading live translations in chat.
The personality shift wasn't random, either; if I'm not mistaken, she started to lean into it after getting bonked by UA-cam, despite following the rules at the time.
A lot of the characters in this game, especially the ones later into the roster like the ID girls, have p convoluted playstyles. Fubuki in particular is rather mediocre if you're not actively making use of their unique skills. Like, she has a stacking _"explosion-on-dodge"_ skill and a _"100%-dodge-chance-every-few-seconds"_ skill. It feels very counter intuitive, but she seems to be designed around diving *into* groups of enemies when her 100%-dodge skill is active to blow them up, then using her incredible speed to run away before the dodge skill runs out.
Ikr, a lot of people read "speed" and immediately assume she is hit & run character. if anything she is more of a tank & counter character, except the tanking part is just invincibility with cooldown
1:47:21 As you wish. Ookami Mio is the first member to debut in the sub generation Hololive Gamers, in order to spend more time with her friend and classmate Shirakami Fubuki. She's well-known for organizing big projects and collabs, and especially her Tarot card streams, which is why it's her signature weapon in this game. The MioFa, short for Mio's Family, is the name of her fanbase, and they're the gray and white creatures you see in stage 2. There are two types of MioFa: Wolf type and Cat type; both types will tell you Mio is a mother to them and everyone in Hololive (source: I'm a MioFa~😊). Her cheerful laugh can be heard very shortly after tuning in to a stream, and she often streams puzzle, simulation, and lesser known games. Mio's voice is something that will stick with you for a long time (You *NEED* to listen to her cover of Sparkle and her original song Howling!!!). The stand you see is called Hatotauros, and he serves as the guardian of the MioFa Forest in which Mio and the MioFa live. He was originally drawn by Fubuki, and later brought to life by her artist, Izumi Sai. You'll often see him during Mio's weekly morning show, AsaMio. The song you hear on this stage is a remix of Shijosugi Adtruck, which Mio sang along with Natsuiro Matsuri (she's in the game) and Shiranui Flare (she's coming soon, hopefully). Mio is one of talents that offsets the mostly hectic Hololive atmosphere; both senior and junior members often rely on her advice and stable prescence. She's distinguished herself as a Mama who greets you with a "Welcome home~" after a long day!
The cat thing that appeared in the ID level is named Bazo and it's Zeta's companion/pet. The reaon why Kaela's fans are portrayed as penguins is because of her default outfit being black & white and because her surname is Kovalskia like Kowalski, the penguin from the Madagascar franchise. Fans even made that comparison even before her debut. And Yagoo is pronounced as "Yago"
I feel like Stage 4 and Stage 3 Hard Mode are balanced around fandom/G. Rank. Getting the minimum upgrades without investment always feels so impossible
Decided to pick this up after watching your first vid, no regrets, great game that I can just pick up every now and again and do a run or 2. Good luck on future runs!
There _is_ a coin farming build that you can do to get ridiculous amounts of coins in a single run (talking 300k+) but you'd probably prefer to explore and unlock the content more organically. The farming build is a bit more in depth than just a certain character with certain items. You kind of have to re-arrange your skill upgrades as well for the most optimal run. I won't get into it here, though. If you wanna know it, I can explain it or I'm sure someone in chat (or even google) can fill you in.
I recommend checking out the fan animation "Myth's Bad End." Apart from being an incredible fan animation about Holo EN's first generation, HoloMyth, it's a master class in animation in general.
I like the collab system in this game. Though I'm especially partial to collabs that lead into Super Collabs. It'd be great if there were even more of those.
2:38:05 yes yes yes. I get this all the time. Im named after Stevie Ray Vaughan. And the amount of times my boss would introduce customers to me saying "You know that is? Thats Stevie Ray Vaughan"
I haven't seen Part 3 as of writing this comment but as a Fubuki main, I just wanted to give some Fubuki advice for when/if you pick her back up again. Her whole playstyle revolves around Kon Kon which activates anytime you dodge an attack. You can purposefully trigger 100% dodge in 2 ways: activate her Special and trigger Friendzone. Once you do one of those 2 things, you actually want to run head first into crowds to trigger Kon Kon a TON of times. You might think that because of this her Special is the thing you should focus on (and you can) but playing around Friendzone is much more consistent and fun imo. As you're running around, Fubuki will still start to have a white trail/echo effect following her: this lets you know that you will trigger Friendzone the next time you get hit. So get hit on purpose and that trail will turn blue for the next 3 seconds which shows you that you will dodge all damage (which triggers Kon Kon). This can be hard to see when you have a ton of enemies/attacks on the screen so it's best to have a mental timer of when you want to weave in or out of the crowds giving Fubuki a high skill ceiling. For scaling, you want movement speed and crit mostly. Some really good items for her are as follows. Defensives: Body Pillow (protection for if you mistime Friendzone ending), Headphones (another potential save for bad timing/positioning) Offensives: Ninja Headband (this item was basically made for her skillset), Sake (dodging doesn't count as getting hit so free crit!), Energy Drink and Face Mask (if you're dodging all damage anyway there isn't a downside to either of these), GWS Pill (more crit most of the time), Hope Soda (especially good with GWS Pill if you focus on Friendzone), Beetle (MORE KON KON) Utility: Uber Sheep (more healing and helps keep up Sake's 2nd crit buff), Stolen Piggy Bank (more speed and more coins), Kusogaki Shackles (this can eliminate the downsides to those more risky offensive items) As for weapons, get whatever you like. Kon Kon and her tail are enough for any stage (even 4!) but ones that slow enemies down and can attack things her tail can't reach are preferred. Collabs I like to shoot for are Snow Flower Sake (Glowstick + Water [super collabs with Sake as a bonus]), Broken Dreams (Tears + Cooking), Absolute Wall (Ball + Board), Curse Ball (Ball + Curse), Frozen Sea (Book + Water) and Rap Dog (Song + Potato). Given your current unlock progress, I'd shoot for the following as your Fubuki build: Weapons: Max Tail Swipe, grab CEO Tears and Spider Cooking (collab into Broken Dreams eventually) Items: Sake, Body Pillow, Energy Drink, Knightly Milk, Uber Sheep, Stolen Piggy Bank, Idol Costume Can't help you with Bae though so good luck with her!

You really shouldn't be focused on whether weapons have enchantments when choosing them. Instead you should be taking weapons that can make collabs, because collabs can greatly increase your performance. If you really want enchantments you can always add them at an anvil.
