great band, nice you learned this, he is one of the best guitar players, seems he chooses every note instinctively, yet with a purpose...you capture it well
guys what are you all crying about?its not that hard this is the basics of glam metal!triad 2 note chords on the 4th and 3rd strings 34,54,75,97,etc and palm muting on the fifth string almost everything in glam metal is like that and its really interesting and beautiful progression to play, this was used by ratt dokken steel panther motley crue hawk wasp etc
Nice job. I'm from Bellevue WA same years as this band. Never heard of them until October 2018. Kendall Bechtel has a channel. Tell him you covered his work. Actually he already knows he commented below!
Tab out the album. Then contact Bechtel on his channel. Work out some kind of deal. There are people such as myself that would buy it if it exists. This would also be marketing for the band as they are back after 28 years.
I really wish I had time for that, but unfortunately I don't :') My life has been very busy lately (moving countries, new job...), so I have not even come around finishing the tab for this particular song...
Great job bro .....thanks for entertaining us with your talent and gift from the divine . When music was GOOOOOOOOD holy WOW that's baddass !!!!!!!!! 😮 ...... I'm so happy that the younger generation are digging our music from 1989 that is so cool the music today just does not offer that much originality and spirituality in the music it's so prefabbed ,pretend, overly electronically produced, cookie cutter pop - rap NON-SENSE that goes NOWHERE in terms of real spirituality( like this song which is talking about seeking the inner self .).... But they cannot reproduce the sound in a acoustical live setting .......... bands like fifth angel and I can name a whole list of European melodic metal bands that just blow people away they're just genius they're above the level of excellent in my rating system which is poor good Fair excellent but above excellent is a special category only reserved for people like Ronnie James Dio or Iron Maiden that's the genius level I classify fifth angel is excellent however
Thanks! I believe at the time I was using a Line 6 Spider IV, but I didn't like the distortion sound, so instead I used the distortion and eq of a tiny Blackstar Fly 3 connected via the line out to the Line 6 amp, to clean up the rough sounding line out signal of the Blackstar.
@@JochemBaan Wow... ok, that is very interesting. Because the tone is spot on! I though it is some jcm800 patch somewhere or some specific marshall setting... :D
@@warhead5809 :') at the time I was also quite overwhelmed with how well that setup worked, I think I used it for some other cover videos too. I never really managed to dial in a nice saturated marshall-like tone on the Line 6 as a standalone, so I have sold the Line 6 amp and using a Boss Katana-50 now, which sounds great on it's own, and I love the 0.5 Watt power soak feature for playing at lower volumes!
I've figured out most of it. However, I can't figure out the last piece of the intro-riff, the "inbetween-riff" in the verse and the bridge is a hassle aswell. The power chords are a nobrainer but the other ones...
I don't have tabs for it, learned it by ear. Tabbing out the whole song is going to take me a lot of time, so if you want I can just tab out some of the parts you're struggling with? (Also, after making this I found out that some parts in the chorus I played wrong)
My Favorite song by them!!!! Midnight Love is right up there!!!
I love the 80s, I miss that time mostly for the music.
Very Nice !!! My favorite Song by them is "Feel the Heat"

Great playing. I wish you could post tab or a lesson on this... I can't even figure out the opening riff. :/
Great Job on Guitar!!!! 😃
Very Nice!
Thank you very much! Is this the real Kendall from Fifth Angel?!?
@@JochemBaan yes that's the real virtuoso on the album. Bechtel is fantastic. It is the same avatar as the UA-cam channel.
Man, you slayed that. Awesome. Really, really great job. Cheers!
That guitar riff is amazing and so jealous great job btw 🤘

Seals 777 very true
Great cover man. What amp did you use?

Can you upload the tabs please
Great playing! Did you learn by ear or do you have a tab?
Thanks! I learned it by ear yeah. I think I started tabbing out the song at some point but, never finished it, I think I even lost the file...
JochemBaan And I was hoping that you’d have a link to share. Oh well, back to the grind I guess
Unfortunately not no... Good luck! I can tab out some specific bits and pieces if you need help with certain parts
JochemBaan I’ll get in touch if I get stuck. 🤘🏼

You're great! Could you tell me the tuning?
あああ あああ Thanks! The tuning is in Eb standard (so tuned down half a step).
Tab please
Tabs??
