Guide on how to play in First Person (Steam+Xbox controller required): ua-cam.com/video/AucPUgX6HpI/v-deo.html (most likely broke with the new patch, but if you downpatch the game should still work).
The betrayal looks even more terrifying from Mono's perspective, this is exactly the last thing he saw, his "friend" dropping him into his doom :( This hits *much* harder.
The models weren't really designed to be expressive. They were always designed to be seen in long shots, far away from the camera and with their faces always hidden. So they were never meant to animate their faces to show any emotion under any circumstance. The animators have to rely completely on body language.
But this first person makes me confident that Six considered saving Mono. Her head dips towards his face and then she drops him after an elongated pause. She didn't mean to betray initially. In her eyes he betrayed her first as the Thin Man.
@@SDSXellan If this was meant to be taken sarcastically, then I'll let you know that I was talking about body movements, not the face; the tilt with the head followed by the pulled back of her hand made it seem as though she was disgusted or as I previously stated, "shocked" after a closer inspection of Mono's face
why would she have suspicion and when she ever showed that? she did not see Mono using thin man's power to defeat him. its more logical to think Six has no memory of herself being the monster Six and the last time Six was conscious she was still asking Mono to save her
After watching this in 1st person, it really makes me think just how lucky Mono and Six really are, they're always able to narrowly escape, like when running from the viewers there's no way he'd know there'd be a TV at the dead end or on the train with thin man, how the lever to detach the carts was right there when he needed it lol
What's really sad is that at 10:41 when mono looks up he gets a direct view of the escape out of the tower, meaning that he had that same view taunting him for the whole time he was growing up, imagine being caged like that and being forced to look at your freedom that you almost had, everyday untill the day you finally get out only to then be killed and replaced, forcing another person to go through what you did
they did that so the animation on the first 6 will not mess up but its a one side game so the player wont see it makes it a whole lot easy for the creators
9:27 - 9:28 She did try to pull him up. 9:30 - 9:34 She stopped trying and took a closer look at his face. 9:35 -.9:37 *tilted her head* realizing something wasn't right and she started questioning herself (insert your guess of her monologue) Thank you so much for the video! We used it as reference to complete our fancomic.
no expression at all or any change the whole time on the cliff. to me, it basically destroy the theory that Six recognized his face as the thin man there.
@@shiro7256 lmao, dude, they don't animate the face because you're literally never supposed to see it. there's no reason for animating facial expressions, so that doesn't mean shit

Well I don’t think he meant to cowardly do that either, he gets affected by that all that, but to her of course I think she saw it as a betrayal herself
what should he have done, get out of the bed to get caught by thin man too? Staying hidden was the only solution to survive, not a choice, but letting the hand go was one
Don’t forget that six as a monster actually shared the music box with mono/player, like when you hit her with the hammer all she does is bat you away, but it’s only when you start breaking the music box does she show signs of aggression. I’m pretty sure after the first time you break it she doesn’t let you close but she doesn’t show obvious signs of trying to blatantly murder you. Sad, honestly.
