Nice to meet you! I feel like I'm just standing around talking horses while I'm listening to this video! Nice easy going natural good food for horses. Thanks for chatting.
@@HandyHorsemanOhio I feed mineral like this. It works great. My farrier told me to do this. Some days I can tell she's ate more than others. I really like this method
You're the best on the internet. Seriously. Thank you for all this !

Green grass, sunshine, and muddy creek water, that's it👍👍
Same thing my grand-dad always said "nothing better for'em than green grass, sunshine and muddy creek water"
I like the free range minerals but I was just wondering if the horses would ever take in to much of one mineral sense it's all mixed together?
I have not seen any problem like this
Ok thank you for the good ideas
no.....they have a natural way of knowing what they need....they might use more at first until they find balance

What to feed seniors that can't grind the hay like they used to?
Sir what brand of mineral do you feed. Should I just ask for minerals for horses at the mill. Thanks
DAC is the best mineral you can google feed DAC
@@HandyHorsemanOhio They have several products there. Which formula do you use?
DAC offers wide variety of minerals. Which one is basic free choice for grass/hay fed horse? Is hard to know what to choose.
I would call or email him
What about mineral blocks?, are they any good Ted?
Mineral blocks are 95% salt...free choice mineral has a better balance for your horse
I would be afraid the horse(s) would get over-dosages by free feeding...selenium is easy to get a toxic level.
