One is not supposed to cut their nail in the dark. I was told its not good to do that until I grew up and my father told the real reason. But when you say Dr.says fasting in Ramadan is good -bro it's coz FASTING is general is good. And it should actually be done once in every week or two to help our digestive system reboot not just for 1 month throughout the year.

Some of the rituals, if told to people to follow, either they will laugh at ur, or adversely comments on if. They is why our elders attached it to the faith with God, then it is either followed or they won't comment adversely. We often thinks we are more intelligent than our ancestors but once we know the real meaning we should respect our elders for their intelligence.
In Telugu we also say "Matti" for soil. And in Hindi they say Mitti.
And in Bangla it's matti
We used to know all the logics and all but thanks to Islamic and British Invasion here we are today

Iman ji if you are planning to buy a copper jug, just make sure you get a bigger one such that you can see & wash the inside of the jug properly without any difficulty. You must remove every bit of all those green coatings that develops inside a copper vessel over time, & never ever buy a copper water bottle.
