the 'knots' and 'threads' he talked about remind me of Haraway's concept of the cat's cradle in Staying With the Trouble
I thought of Tim Morton when mentioning The Mesh... Good bunch of thinkers!
totally agree, friend Luneborg lol
I keep expecting Micheal Palin to jump on the stage with a sward, point to Ingold and shout out "There can be only one!".
He simultaneously states that in a meshwork the lines have no beginning or end, and that they have loose ends which are their value which we must follow... Slightly incoherent there, however the majority is powerful ideas, how we move through this world and join cognition to doing. Thinking through making is an antidote to inertia! Let us be constructive and hold the vision of a regenerative future with nourishing food and creativity, actions, for all.
This is a good example why one should be silent during a lecture! Fucking disrespectfull.
Take the audio from the Mic please!
noisy prats
I start disliking PowerPoint
So annoying listening to the noisy audience
What a pity about the audience!!
The person speaking at the same time than Tim Ingold is really annoying.
Irritating! Bad audio.
chatting audience are annoying but its really the fault of the videographer who did not mike the speaker. Hence the echo.
