Duh! The clocks are stunning Lyn! It's amazing how well the casting resin accepts the paint, and the acrylic paints just keep getting better and better! Love you! Lisa
Of course I am still with you Lyn! It makes my heart sing to see new videos from you my friend! I have a new job that is keeping me very busy and very tired. I miss chatting with you! Much love! xo
I'm so glad to see you're back I hope you're doing well Miss watching your new tutorials when they come up can't wait to see what you have coming up I hope you have a Merry Christmas
Hi CraftyNana, The clear is crystal clear, I antiqued the face of the clock first to give it some age but it is very clear & no I haven't tried it. Sounds like it may work for other application though, thanks for the tip! Lyn
Hi Lynda, it's been a few years since I created this one...lol. Prima molds sell out so quickly but in their hindsight they did create another one www.amazon.com/Prima-Marketing-MOULD-6319-X8mm-Elisian-Clockworks/dp/B07PRCB2QY/ref=sr_1_35?keywords=prima+molds&qid=1585332425&sr=8-35 . Thank you, Lynda!
Merry Christmas Michi! I was in the hospital for a month back in May-June But I've recovered & I'll feeling great so back to creating! Yay is right! Thanks Hon! Lyn
Great to see you! I have been watching for your videos :) I love the copper clock with the patina on it. I'm having a bit of trouble getting a similar or realistic look... but will keep at it :)
I was so happy when I got my notification that you had posted a video. I have really missed your tutorials and video shares. Love the clock, can't wait to see how you se them. Paula
Yea! Lynn is back! :)... I am so glad to see you are better! Missed your inspiring videos - TFS! those clocks are beautiful, I have that mould and never thought to use to use the amazing casting resin - Great Idea and lovely pieces!! :)
Hi Lynn, glad to see you back -- have missed your vids. Love the different finishes you have made, they all look great. I made one of these clocks from PClay and used CF Swellegant using Copper patina and some dye (green/blueish finish) but never thought to put clear resin on the face Dahhh! May just give it an upgrade LOL Have a great Christmas and look after yourself. Juliexx
Hi Mari, Prima actually designed these to be used to decorate furniture. They sell a paper clay to be used in the molds but polymer clay, resin(you can mix a super fine wood/sawdust sold my molding product companies such as Smooth-on or ArtMolds) & after doing some research & contacting Prima they said as long as it's the putty type it should work just fine. I hope this helps, hon. Lyn
Would like to try making the clock you make it look so easy . Is the casting resin hard to work with and does it take long to dry? Thank you for your video enjoyed it very much.
Hi Dot, it's really easy & Amazing Casting Resin takes only 10-20minutes to set up. You can even un-mold the clock after 20minutes or so, it will still be sort of flexible but you'll be able to paint it. The clear resin I used on top Amazing Clear Cast takes overnight to set up though but you could easily skip that step if you wish. Both of these resins are Amazing Casting Products & are available here www.moldputty.com/ or at your local craft store usually. Thanks! Lyn

Can these molds be used with a wood filler to make decorations for actual furniture?
