- There is an update to this video, these are no longer the fans I have installed.
This is what the garage looks like now. It's a small fraction of the 17 I had, but it's something that we really needed. Installed in order of singular appearance are Evergo 36", Litex Utility 56", Canarm 56", Patton 56", and Menards Turn of the Century 56". The Evergo is controlled independently, and the other four together. The Litex buzzes terribly on the middle speed ranges, but is bearable in the garage environment. When all five are on high the whole ceiling and everything in it vibrates from all the movement.

I can notice that the first Litex moves a bit faster than the other 56" Industrial fans (on the really low and normal low speeds).

My goodness, I haven't seen this fan video for a long time now, I used to watch these type of fan videos quite often (at the time when UA-cam used to look much different, when the thumbs-up and thumbs-down rating used to be green and red).
I didn't do anything to them, just put 'em up and called it good. Got the controls off Ebay for REALLY SUPER CHEAP! There are always a few 5 amp ones on there for a really decent price. I still have all my other industrials, just didn't want to use my good ones permanently in the garage (why I got these for this purpose, excluding the Evergo, which is one of my nice ones but I needed a 36" that moves good air).

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I repainted it in here. I actually did it months ago, and didn't post about it elsewhere. I haven't finished the lower canopy, but it's good enough for the garage right now.
Well, I'd recommend buying one direct from Envirofan, Canarm, or HRS, but you can get cheap ones from Litex at Menards, or a fairly good Hampton Bay one at Home Depot.

I've got controls all right, but most of my extras right now are chokes and I want to keep those. Check Ebay for sure, under solid state fan control or something like that. I got mine for like $3 or $4 each I think, and they combined the shipping so the total came in under $15.
Exactly, a couple went flying off when I turned it on, so I put on the ones from the Heritage Alexis that I destroyed.
Went into storage. I have way more fans than were ever installed in the garage at once, those extra 17 just went in with all the rest.

Just cut it. You can put any 1/2" downrod on though, you'd just have to modify it to put the wires through which can be done by drilling a hole in the side in the same place as the original rod.

I didn't use it in this application, it was in storage. It now occupies the general area that the Evergo was in on this particular video. I plan to do an update on the fans I have out there now at some point.
I cut it. Easy enough to do, remove it from the fan, cut off the TOP section, drill a new hole for the rubber bushing mount and you're set.
I did not. I wasn't expecting them to go flying off, so I wasn't prepared. Wasn't anything good, they just kind of fell off. The new blades are sagging quite a bit already, and the cane is falling out. :-D I'll probably do a video of it again sometime.

Litex Utility manual says not to use them on solid state speed control, but I guess you won't really care since it's just Litex.

I wonder, had any of the other 56" Industrial fans hummed a bit too (when they were on the lowest speed setting) when they were in the garage at that time?

The Evergo is probably my favorite.
Just took them down and put them in storage with everything else that wasn't installed.
how did you get them all perfectly balanced? and where did you get the vari-speed wall controls? lol one more question what happened to the other industrials you had or have?
Wait how come there are two Litex fans did you sell one of them before you made this video?
If you put your arm in one of those would it cut it off because if it does I ain't doing it
