Great video! Enjoyed it immensely. I’ve ridden motorcycles for 40 plus years and am contemplating a Vespa. I currently own a VStrom and a 1977 BMW airhead. I’ve always worked on my own bikes and I do like the older bikes. I’m thinking about a two stroke manual Vespa, could you suggest a year and model range to look at? I’m in California, and I’m not sure about the year they stopped the two stoke because of emissions. I don’t want to go too old, but any suggestions in what to look for would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again! Joe
Thanx. If you want a scooter that is (reasonably) reliable, classic and easy to work on I would recommend a Vespa PX 125 or 200 cc. They made it practically unchanged from 1970-something to 2001. Lots of spare parts snd knowledge available. Good luck!
