- So of course with the redrawing of Luna's Reign,,, I just had to retouch on this one too. It would've been illegal not to honestly. I always liked how the Celestia one looked over Luna or Twilight's pieces and I'm really glad I was able to re-create one of my favorite drawings from that time period. I had said before that I didn't really like Celestia but she's really grown into a better character over the seasons. I should draw her more, I forgot how much I love her design.

I realized why re-draws are so important. They can show how much you've improved since you first created a piece, but they can also show aspiring artists that they'll get better too! They'll keep learning and growing as artists, even if their art is good now, it can be better later, and that comparing their art with someone else's art may not be the most productive.

This is amazing. I'm not sure about the muzzle shading, personally, but overall is incredible. I especially love when all the shading you did went away for a second, and came back on her hair, and showed just how big a difference those little details can make
