You getting so giddy and happy when you see Evan Williams BIB is like me in a store when I see Eagle Rare in stores 😂🥃🦅
Eagle Rare is delicious! I’ve found a secret place that always seems to have it for $50. I’m sitting on 3 bottles currently.
@@shawnhughart3544 sweet I live in Colorado one Total Wine here in Denver a year and half ago had a drop for $34 a bottle but only one bottle per person🤣🥃🦅I have a store here locally that has them $59 I always keep one on stock it's such a great summer sipper.

Yea . that bottle is hard to find sometimes . Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯
You did great on the EHT. I’m in a control state and you only paid about $20 more than we’d pay if we could find it. Love the channel!
Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . Im try out here . cheers 💯
Davidson Reserve is an amazing product. It is put out by Pennington Distilling in Nashville. GREAT distillery experience, you can blend your own bottle! I love their blue 4-grain mash bill, but I think, for my taste, their SMALL BATCH Rye is about the best bottle they produce!!! It is sweet and minty on the front spicy in the middle and pepper on the LONG finish...You missed the James Ownby. VERY decent pour from Ole Smokey Moonshine. That is the recipe that started the whole thing a long time ago for the ole smokey brand. James is the grandfather of the owner now and was a hero in the Battle of Kings Mountain as one of the Overmountain Men. The Ownby's was one of the original 5 families that settled in Tennessee. Cool story! AS for the bourbon, I enjoy the classic notes of bourbon it offers... VEY GOOD!!
@@scottbennett6200 awesome. Thanks for sharing. I did not know that. I’m going to do a little research on that.
Thanks for watching

Bro you completely bypassed Legent!!!!! Do not miss this hidden gem! It’s a collabo between Suntori and Jim Beam! Amazing pour!

Old forester Rye BPSB 😮. Those are harder to fine than the standard Blue label BPSB.

That Pikesville is a good pour. Old Kirk😮? Wish I could get one of those.

When my father passed away recently I picked up a bottle of JD single barrel barrel proof rye. It did the trick and I imagined enjoying a pour with my dad
@@kbdad78 it is a pretty good bottle. Thanks for sharing that.

EHT small batch is one of my faves. I get it in my town for 59.99. My local grocery store had it for 43.99. Always have a backup of that

Don't if you've tried it yet, but Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit is a wonderful pour - specifically Camp Nelson rick house.

Blue note crossroads is pretty funky, maybe French oaks not my thing. It’s not bad but it’s just not something I’ll replace after I finish it

Hey! Evan Williams American Hero Edition and Single Barrel! That 1.75L EW BiB for $30 is a major major deal! Ooooh, an Old Forester single barrel barrel strength rye on the allocated shelf!
I really wish I could find one of those Evan Williams American Hero Edition small batch bottles!
I saw that Old Forester Rye on video . Don't know how I missed it . Thanks for your reply . cheers 💯
Hey Chad I seen CC when you walked in , Have you ever tried CC 12 year , I picked up a bottle in Tulsa Ok. back in april its very good.... ,Iam with you on that Evan BIB and I like to Drink it with 7up Zero,,, That EH Taylor SB is one of my favorites , I was just having a few pours of it tonight.... Thanks
@@RandyLalonde I haven’t tried that yet. Is it good? I’m going to do a video on that EH small batch next.
Cheers🥃🥃🥃🥃
Kentucky Par is allegedly Barton distillate. So it may be decent, but that’s a steep price for an unknown. I’d definitely want a pour before I dropped money on it. Especially since 1792 BiB is considerably cheaper.
Totally agree . Don't want to drop that much of a questionable bottle. Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯
Drinking an EW bib old fashioned watching you live! 🥃love your content!
Awesome..I definitely recommend that bottle . The best bang for the buck. Thanks for sharing . Appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯
EH Taylor is a really nice bottle, though MSRP is ~$45. I know some smaller places mark it up and overpaying a little is ok sometimes if you don't want to search around for it, but I also don't like rewarding price gougers. Prices will come down the more we refuse to pay an unjustifiable surplus.
Even though palates are obviously different, Bulleit is really subpar whiskey IMO. I have their recently released 12 year rye, which is decent value for that age at about $50, but it's also only 92 proof. While it isn't half-bad and decent for comparisons, it would be much better around 100-110 proof. Figures that the best thing Bulleit releases isn't even their distillate, it's 95/5 rye sourced from MGP (like everyone else).
Thanks for sharing . I did pay a little more than I wanted . Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . I need to find that 12 year rye also. cheers 💯
Had the JD SB BP Rye in my hand tonight but they said I had to purchase a store pick to get it. Just didn’t feel like spending that much money today.
I definitely have been there before . it's always next time . Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯
try the bulleit 10 year with the white label. Its a great pour!!
Okay . I will put it on my list . Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯
RE: Old Dominick, what’s the difference between BiB and bonded? And great job on the EH!
I really don't think it's a big difference . Both are held to a higher standard and must be aged a minimum of 4 years and both are 100 proof. Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯
Love that EHT Small Batch
Awesome . Im excited to try it. Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯
Grab that barrel proof larceny asap!
@@mmorales6307 awesome. Thanks for the suggestion. Definitely appreciate that.
I'm surprised you didn’t even consider the EW Single Barrel on the bottom shelf. Not as high proof as the BIB but I prefer the taste.
I have one of those . Haven't opened it yet. Im planning on doing a blind with the Evan W. Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯
@@bourbonlover do you remember any other prices on that sheet behind the counter? Any Stagg or Weller (not SR)
Taylor Small Batch for $80 is a great price. The lowest I’ve ever paid in Northwest Indiana was $120 - and that was after a lot of hunting.
Distribution across states is ridiculous. EHT SB drops monthly in SoCal for around $50, be it Total Wine or mainstream grocery stores. They go quick, but you should run into one every so often if you visit enough places. At $50 it's a really great bottle. At $120, I'd be pretty let down. Hopefully as this bourbon bubble bursts, prices go down and availability goes up.
@@dneuensI’m visiting So Cal soon. You ever see Stagg Jr. for a fair price?
@@shawnhughart3544 Honestly not really, unless it's a new batch that drops in Total Wine / Costco / Sam's Club. I've managed to score a few by slightly overpaying in bundles and one shop had a 4th of July sale where they only had 3 bottles that they were selling for $99 each. I managed to get there early enough to score the first one, and only because it was a 22A.
You can find some around for $200, but I think that's even too steep for what it is. If you can find for $100, go for it. If it's your first, I'd max out at like $150, but that's if you're just desperate.
Where are you going in SoCal? Depending on the area, I might be able to recommend some places to go if you want to find decently priced bottles. May not be Stagg or super allocated stuff all the time, but you never know.
Thanks for sharing . did you enjoy it?
Awesome . Wish I was closer to those prices 💯

$80 for E.H Taylor small batch is the absolute most you should ever pay for that bottle. It’s good but honestly it’s a $50 bottle.
I totally paid too much for that one. Thanks for sharing . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯
@@bourbonlover My apologies, I didn't mean to suggest you overpaid. $80 isn't bad for ET small batch, considering the current market. My comment was more of a grievance towards the current allocated bourbon pricing.
@@deanpatterson4503 never apologize when you are right. I did pay a little bit more for that bottle. I seen it cheaper and way more expensive.

Up here in wisconsin buffalo trace is allocated.
It's funny that I live in SoCal where Buffalo Trace is everywhere and their allocations (Blanton's/EHT/ER/Weller SR) drop every so often that a little searching isn't crazy hard to find. But I'm originally from Wisconsin, so whenever I go back, I get excited to pick up some Driftless Glen and J Henry that's in every store because you can't find them here. (Sometimes run into a random Driftless Glen, but options are super limited)
It's allocated here in Alabama, an ABC state, too. Then most things are allocated here.
WOW . Thanks for sharing . I did not know that . Definitely appreciate your support and feedback . cheers 💯 . That's good to know .
