Great video! After a couple of good shots and my confidence is up I tend to start thinking I can play like peak Tiger and land the ball on a dime. I always remind myself of the advice I was given as a youngster, K.I.S.S.. don’t be a hero, because you aren’t peak Tiger 😂
Nice vid thanks for sharing. Nice to see even very low handicappers hit slices and tops 😂. On a serious note it proves that the key to scoring low is in the short game and recovery shots, not hitting bombs dead straight down the middle. Something that helps me is to split the round into 3 games of 6 holes so I can start again twice per round and set smaller targets; so if I’m 4-5 over after the first 6 holes I reset the score in my head to level par and go from there - stops me chasing scores to try and get back on track which normally makes things worse.
Hey Russ, actually found this useful mate thanks for sharing. I'm looking into using the shot tracer app instead of creating them manually which will make things a lot quicker. Manual tracing takes ages. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍👍
If that’s a course in the UK then you definitely didn’t film it over the last few months 🤣🤣 Best way to keep things rolling when it’s going well is to have a consistent pre-shot process and routine. And total commitment to your shot. You can still play good shots even if your mind is wondering.
Really enjoyed this with all your thoughts and comments

Just the words 'peak Tiger' were enough for me to like to appreciate this comment 😂👌👌👌
I tell myself I’m not good enough to care about my score, that’s if I’m ever playing well 😂 and normally it works
Stick to it if it works bud 🤣🤣 see you soon dude

Yeah was a couple weeks ago 😉😂 that's great advice mate, my number 1 issue is just too much thought and not enough routine 👍
