Hello, thx for video…In my location the temperature is about +3 to +13, but it almost always rains... do you think these boots will be suitable as protection from the rain?
I bought a pair to do the UK coast to coast and they were very good, especialy over gravel and stone paths where sole just absorbed the stones. Not that good on mud though.
They are a mid cut , so not really high enough for snow. I’ve used them on lots of sand - and not ideal…. If passing through snow - ok, but for prolonged use I’d say you would need something more substantial!!!
@@kernowoutdoors thanks for the info! It's actually my first time experiencing snow. I am just concerned about slipping while walking down streets (black ice?). I don't think we will be hiking up in deep snow for a long time. Looking for options within that price range that aren't really going to be useless once I fly back to my tropical country.
No, go bigger . Especially on big down hills as they rock you forward you need space at the front of the toes. Have to say- these boots are incredible- still can’t praise them enough!!
They’re the winners choice awards and some other award here in CA , USA , just bought them online , waiting to try on

Yes , they’re goretex and with a good pair of socks - keep you warm and dry

Hmm, well I hope there’s not much mud- but I do like them, especially with a slightly knackered foot :-)
Do you consider it as a warm shoe because I consider buying them for winter and autumn walking trails
With a good pair of socks - sure. They are low cut- mid, so won’t keep snow out. In the last week I’ve walked 124 miles in them, very impressed
They do look good, not sure the white will age very well 🤔
Amen, wore em out earlier- was chased by cows- and slid in a massive pile of their 💩- they ain’t too white now !!
Are they good for snow in terms of traction and warmth?
