The galliwasps are still found all over the island. They are mainly found in places that have cool temperatures…mostly seen in stone walls then they come out in the morning to absorb sunlight.

Honestly, I am not surprised that these Artifacts were stolen from Jamaica. Most likely, Jamaica sold it to them just like how they sold out the land to outsiders.

@@Jerome-ID-m9zthe native ppl of the islands are the Tainos and Kalinagos which are Arwakans tribes that migrated from South America. Before anyone "discovered" the Americas they were already inhabited from Canada, North America, Cental America, South America and the Caribbean but what they believed to be 'The Indians' hence the name 'West Indies'. There were already indigenous ppl living in these lands before intermixing with African, European and Asian descent. One love to all ppls and continue the spread of knowledge and truth 🏹🪶🖤✨

Oh puhleez…..Artwork etc missing from politicians ‘borrowing’ them n not returning them…”IT HAS been more than a year since a team from the National Gallery of Jamaica embarked on an extensive search to find eight missing works of art valued at nearly $2 million. However, to date, they have come up empty-handed. The National Gallery had loaned the paintings to a number of government agencies, including Jamaica House, Vale Royal and the High Commission in Trinidad.
Auditor General Pamela Monroe Ellis had informed Parliament's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) last year that her audit uncovered 11 missing pieces of artwork.
During a PAC meeting in Gordon House yesterday, executive director of the gallery, Veerle Poupeye, revealed that four of the unrecovered pieces went missing from 1989. This is a very long-standing matter that somehow has remained on our books for that period of time and, given the fact that 22 years have passed, the chances of recovery are significantly (improbable)," she told the committee.”….in sum, tief no like fi see tief with long bag

True. But remember, "Jamaica" is an island. Like "Africa" is a continent. Both Jamaica and Africa are geograohical place names. Jamaicans are not a people. Africans are not a people. PEOPLE have populated different places on this planet, at different times throughout history,..under different names. WTF is an "African" artifact. Work of art made by a person who lived on the continent of Africa. A person who very well may have become "Jamaican." You know how these things happen.
Recognizing and respecting people's common humanity, originating from a common Creator, will be key to these conflicts. Over pieces of wood, bronze heads, not to mention people themselves stolen, traded, and sold as property.
