Those subtitles are ahead of time. Till the very later episodes it was Raftel not Laught Tale and also we didn't know it was Gol D. Roger but Gold Roger.
yeah the laugh tale part was for some reason stamped as a translation error over the years and got retroactively changed everywhere, so in the english tl there no longer exists a „Raftel“, it‘s now Laugh Tale ever since reverse mountain.
yeah that's the beauty of One Piece, Queen. we keep hitting peak, each saga just hits more and more, whenever we think we hit peak, Oda raises the bar again. personally i'm up to 1036 in the DUB and while there are a few arcs that i didnt care much for (one of those is up next...) each saga kept me interested and kept me going. i am both looking forward to the Final Saga and dreading it, i'm not ready to say goodbye to the Straw Hats and the One Piece world.
And so begins the most GOATed filler in history. G8 is such a pleasure to watch and I hope you enjoy it too. :)
I love that Robin lets the crew enjoy their pirate romance of pillaging gold and doesn't mention sky people don't value gold and were about to gift them a giant gold pillar at least 20x bigger than what they gathered. She just plays along running away with them, smiling.

Skypiea is long but it has some incredible moments. Some of my favourites in the series. The next big arc tho.. That shit is life changing. Can't wait!!

I forgot Luffy fell so much fighting Enel, but that punch sure was satisfying. Farewell Enel, have a good trip to the Moon. The crew got some Gold and Dials too, a great outcome. As a heads up the next arc is a filler, but it's probably the best filler in One Piece (in my opinion), and absolutely recommend. Congrats on finishing Skypiea, thanks as always, have a good day!

It's funny to think this arc is nostalgic for me since I just started watching One Piece about 5 months ago (I'm now on Episode 524) and while Alabasta is still my favorite arc, this was also a great one. Loved the location, the side characters, the villain; it was all solid. There were some things that annoyed me like Luffy being stuck in that "cave" for so long but not much else.
I'm sure people have already said this in other comments but Enel was heading to the Moon at the end which he succeeds in doing in the manga. Now fans are saying that it's being foreshadowed that he'll return and if so I can't wait to see him and Luffy duke it out again. As for who or what fixed the ship, you will find the answer later and of course like anything in One Piece it'll be a punch to the gut. Also this next filler arc with the Marines is probably my favorite non-canon arc n the show. It was fantastic.

If you what to know more about Enels travel there is a cover story in the manga that tell you about it.
I noticed the translation for Raftel kinda spoiled the story a bit. Its spelled at Laugh Tale instead of Raftel.

Hi Queen, Enel's goal was the moon (a.k.a Endless Vearth) which is what he was flying towards in the end. The navy base is G-8 I think? It's a filler arc that a lot of people love, I haven't seen it personally so I don't know, but what I do know is that there is an answer that you have to wait for about who fixed the ship. Glad you are enjoying One Piece it's one of my favorite series for a reason. Farewell!

Enel is actually in the sky just flying separately from the sky island. And the endless vearth including what he was looking at, flying straight towards was the moon. Since there's really nothing but dirt and rock up there.
A great end to a major arc. Next one is a filler arc but it's so popular that everyone considers it canon anyway.
Now that Sky island is over, I can genuinely say that the sequence of events that follow to the next arc and beyond are the reason I consider this anime my favourite. Filler included. I of course enjoyed everything prior, my favourite moment being Crocodiles defeat by this point. But Enel being as strong as he is and just dipping to the moon afterwards is always funny to me. Goodbye Earlobes. Skypiea is mainly important because it lays a foundation and for what comes after, it only gets better.

Now for the best filler arcs ever. She's just about to hit some of the best arc in all of One Piece.
The part of the story that you won't get are these cover stories from the manga, that sometimes run from chapter to chapter, and one for Enel has him going to the moon finding technology he brings back with his electricity and automotons, and some heiroglyph drawings depicting all that, plus it introduces the idea of space pirates.
So, this translation says "Laugh Tale." So, I guess the true name is already revealed to anyone who watches the sub. The dub still says "Raftel," unless the dub team went back through and corrected. The dub onlies don't know until they hit that one lore arc, so even they don't get the reveal.
That's kind of sad. So, new watchers are too late for the true reveal? I guess they can still read the manga. 😭
The Zou arc? Yeah, the dub calls it that in Zou already

Ok 2 things.
First, Enel (god) goes to the Moon & meets space pirates. He also learns more about where his people & the other sky people came from. This only happens in the manga so it’s technically not a spoiler cause anime only’s will never know this.
2nd, you will find out who fixed the ship but not until Water 7. You still have 2 more arcs. G8 (filler) which you’re about to start & Long Ring Long Land (canon)

Enel desire was the moon,and if you were to read the manga,you would see how his attempt would go. A very difficult opponent,not only with an extremely powerful gift,but also skilled in technology, armed combat,and cunning enough to improvise. Also, quite determined, thanks to Enel Face meme i remembered him losing spirit immediatly,but i was surprised to see how many times he got back up after being overwhelmed.

Safe to say that if anyone else other than Luffy had gone up there and fought Enel, he would have succeeded. Like that is just an absurdly busted devil fruit.
Also that message from Roger will always be hype. It sort of implies that Luffy is on a similar journey as the one Roger took, and I would have loved if Luffy had gotten to see that message.
The moon has no water on it, so technically, it is the land of Endless Vearth. And the anime has yet to show it, but Eneru(or Enel) actually has some adventures on the moon, accidentally becoming the God AND Savior of a populace consisting of action figure sized robots that went to the moon first. They then find even more of their kind having been on the moon for centuries, and Eneru powers them on while intending on destroying them. It only makes the other robots love him more. Also, there are space pirates trying to harvest the moon's resources that he stops.
Oh, boy, we're altmost there, so close for the PEAK Water 7 and Ennies Lobby after some filler (and canon "filler" hahahah)!!
