    Thanks for the review. For bad roads, I would recommend Bridgestone any day, go for Continentals or Michelin if you have heavy highway use with good to moderate road conditions. Bridgestones are noisy as they are hard compound tyres, the thread patterns are not appealing because its a proper workhorse designed to provide durability and higher mileage.

      Hi, I used michelin prior to these tyres. Michelins lasted 5 yrs. They r the best tyres. I did a review even for those tyres. Michelin are no more available below 17 inch is what I heard. I am using GY assurance triplemax 2 for the last 1 year, I am quite satisfied with the ride quality and low noise but need to see if they perform the same way in the next 2-3 years.

    Hi sir, My running is less.. approx 8K km per year.. and I'm planning to not change tyres for 6 or 7 years.. which tyres are better for life..

    • @maddytalkswithyou
      @maddytalkswithyou  6 місяців тому +3

      Hi Sir, Car tyres need to be changed after 5 years irrespective of kilometers done. If the tyres are not used for prolonged period the tyres become hard and brittle. I really can't suggest any tyres to be used for more than 5 years and it's dangerous to use the car on highway with old/hard/brittle tyres.
      There are two types of tyres.
      1. comfort oriented tyres which can be run for less kilometers i.e approximately 35k to 50k and can be used for less than 4-5 years. These tyres give good grip, a bit less mileage, comfortable ride, stable braking, vehicle comes to stop in less distance after braking etc.,
      2. Mileage oriented tyres which gives good mileage and can be run for more kilometers i.e 50k-70k. These tyres give a bit more mileage, Less comfort, Not so stable braking, Vehicle take more distance to come to complete stop after braking etc.,
      If you have strict budget then only go for 2nd type of tyres. If you can stretch your budget a little more, please go with 1st Option tyres as the benefits overcome the negatives and you'll appreciate the same.
      Sorry for the long post.

      I have been using them. They are harder and somewhat noisy at higher speeds, but the sidewall is strong and super durable, no problems at in 40000 km on all kinds of bad roads and pothole hits - very durable sidewall. But Rotate them frequently to avoid excess tread wear. If the tread begins to get exposed and the tire loses shape, replace immediately.

      Can.you please confirm the comfirt and sound levels compared with GY TM2.
      I remember you told after 80 some tyre noise is there with GYTM2 and after 100 on this sturdo.
      Sound of GY TM2 is it more than sturdo after 80 KMPH or after 100 KMPH or sturdo is better?
      Also the comfirt level between GY TM2 and sturdo? Which is better as per the cost?

    • @maddytalkswithyou
      @maddytalkswithyou  Рік тому +4

      Hi@@soodvikram84, Please note that, I am using GY TM2 for the past 1 year and Bridgestone STURDO for the past 3 months. So, My observations are in these time frames. If you compare it purely on price basis, I feel GY TM2 is better choice than STURDO but I can't vouch for long term performance. If you remove the price out of the equation, thenthe comparison between the tyres is as follows
      Comfort - GY TM2 is better than STURDO
      Grip Levels - Both are almost same
      Tyre Noise - I feel STURDO tyres are bit noisy compared to GY TM2.
      Braking Performance - Both seems to be good for now.
      Long Term Reliability - Can't comment.
      Warranty - Both Tyres have similar warranties, Do check before purchasing.
      Please note that STURDO tyres are advertised as longer life. For longer life tyres, a bit high tyre noise is expected. Hope I answered your queries.

    • @maddytalkswithyou
      @maddytalkswithyou  9 місяців тому

      Hi, Both are good tyres. It depends on the budget and requirement. If you are gonna use the tyres for more km's in 5 yrs, go with bridgestone but do remember that these are not as comfortable & Less road noise as GY triplemax and Sturdo tyres are costlier than triplemax. If you are going with GY triplemax, you get soft ride quality and less tyre noise but triplemax might not run more km's like bridgestone and triplemax is less priced than bridgestone. Do make your choice as per your requirement.

    • @maddytalkswithyou
      @maddytalkswithyou  Рік тому +3

      Hi, It depends on your requirement and budget. If you are looking for comfort, go with premium brands like bridgestone/continental etc., do remember that there would be a slight drop in mileage with these sort of tyres. If you are looking for economy tyres, there are multiple brand tyres. But, u need to get used to more tyre noise and the ride would be little bit bumpy when compared with premium tyres.
