6lbs of onions , a lil cheese and some meat and burnt crust .......sounds like burnt sabotage challenge calzone.......Way to Go Joel and Raina for not complaining and being great sports
exactly there had to be atleast 2 1/2 pounds of onions, 1lb burnt crust 1/3 pound of cheese if that. this dude effed them royally.

Raina usually doesn't talk if she doesn't care for something so the dough looks really overcooked and hard... was that the case dear? if she really liked something she talks a lot and she talks about the food and she'll tell you right away that she likes it... but because she's not talking at all I know she's just trying to complete the challenge that she doesn't care for the food....if the owner sees my comment please cook your onions ahead of time and put cooked onions inside and then make up the rest of the weight with other meats andand cheeses this looks okay but the dough was way over cooked and the insides were just all onion in for a lot of people red Onion is very overwhelming....
Seriously!! Why so many raw onions they could’ve balanced it out more by putting sautéed onions, peppers and mushrooms. Didn’t even try to make it flavorful:/
They low keyed said too much dough because there wasn't enough filling. I totally agree with this comment.
I would have been uncomfortable with him staring and talking to me the whole time! Just let me eat it! And he shouldn't have mentioned the desert pizza if they couldn't make it for Joel. Anyway, ya'll killed it! Awesome job!

It didn’t look appetizing at all. They really need to work in it more, the presentation. It looked dry on the inside. That guy talked to much.

One super annoying owner coming up..😂 I dislike watching challenges when the owner tries to sabotage. From the time, to burning it, and making it look disgusting. All the onions. You know he was upset he had to give the money back. 😂
He told someone that there was a pound of meatballs, a pound of onions, a pound and a half of dough...just sounds gross. The cooks need to be whooped for burning those calzones. They would have been beautiful with fewer minutes in the oven.

@@lhorne4808 they would have been raw inside if cooked less. Calzones aren't easy to cook to the center, especially in a 550 degree pizza oven. I eat them very often and even regular sized calzones often come out cold in the middle if not browned well outside. 1 place I get them from requires me to order them well done just so the middle isn't cold. The thicker they are, the longer they need to cook.
That's what I was thinking lol took the words out of my mouth 🤣 gosh, seriously I wanna know how many onions are in one calzone. Lol

Summary: Lots of nearly-raw red onions + dry and burnt dough + Raina’s dissatisfaction + professional eaters + blabbermouthed amateur owner
I have never seen a calzone cooked like that. Was definitely dry and over baked...hardly any sauce or cheese. It was basically a giant baked onion dumpling. Ugh...
Even dumplings are juicy.. It looked so tough and dry😂
@@muskaangupta1325 I think some of these restaurants purposely try and make the challenge hard for the contestants by making the food hard to eat.

Hopefully next time they will be prepared. That is so messed up to win a challenge like that and they literally had nothing for the win. They could have kept those sad cookies. I'm glad Joel kept pressing them for the dessert pizza because they didn't even want to make that at first. But anyways, Congratulations!!

I don't understand why so many people think the owner is awful, he's just excited to have people enjoying his food and trying the challenge, let alone two people are pretty much crushing it. I'm pretty sure Raina/Joel don't care about people adding commentary, if they did they'd just add music over it.
I think its nice to hear what others think or how impressed they are in the background. The owners enthusiasm is pleasant in my opinion so I don't know why everyone thinks he so annoying or obnoxious.

Dude, congrats that you guys finished this challenge, but I will never patron that establishment. The owner and or manager purposely gave you guys an onion calzone because onion is the cheapest topping and he knew you would win. Also did the guy ever get his desert pizza?
