Hi Lisa, Thanks for sharing, I am in upstate NY and the Dollar Trees have been to taking the boxes of Feastables and breaking them up and are selling them $1.25 a bar. 😠 I think they should not be allowed to do that. (just my option) I feel like we are getting ripped off! If they do that, they should be making them a lower price not $1,25.
The great thing about peppermint Is that it will keep bugs away. So a lot of people that I have cleaned for said that they had started noticing like ants. Or a few of the spiders or whatever not a lot. So I will whip out peppermint oil peppermint spray. And it keeps them away
Hey pookie. My dts are also selling the bars individually. I went out of town and found the boxes. I really really wish the dt would put limits on the hot items. For example the sesame Street set. Resellers are coming thru and clearing the shelves and I think everyone should have a chance to get the hot items. I went to one of my dts and the manager told me she sold out of everything in 30 mins to 4 ppl. That is bullshit. Sorry if I offended anyone, that's just my opinion. Jen.
Some DT’s in MA do that. The one I worked at always did that and it pissed me off. They do it with drinks, socks, anything in big packs, which is not right and I HATE when they do it.
I have the spray in the cleaner. And I love it. I think it works really good. I have not tried the wipes seen it. So I will have to go back and see about those.

I went to 2 of my local stores & with this new pricing I found the same item for two different prices. Also, I've noticed some stores do take apart the multipacks & sell them individually. Very frustrating & is gradually turning me off from shopping more regularly. 😢 love you & your content ❤️
We pay up to 2.00 in Canada and your dollar is way better than ours. Plus we sometimes don’t get the same things and the Canadian dollar tree staff flip out if I ask about something I saw online from the US.
They should make the little solar lanterns in the shape of fruits. I have what I call a "LIGHT GARDEN" where I buy just one of the solar lights the DT gets and I just have them all grouped together like a flower bed and I have them all different heights and colors and shapes. Brings me joy and I have my favorites.
Our DT does that even to bottled water of a 6pack. I also hate when all the employees get all the good stuff and if you ask they will go in the office and bring out what is left over. They did that with the Sesame stuff😡 I haven,t seen any cute lanterns 🏮yet in any of our 3 DT's. Love your peanut shirt, Wet-n -Wild also has a Peanut collection like the Sesame Street. Them selling the bars individually would infuriate me. I'd be tempted to open up the bag of cookies and dump them on the shelf and tell them to sell each cookie individually. 🤣 They did that with the 4 packs of Evian canned sparkling water. Get on the ball, DT!!

I could write a very long comment about how I feel about Dollar tree raising their prices, but I will just keep it short and sweet. They are going to raise their prices to the point where they put themselves out of business the writing is already on the wall. They’re already in trouble financially, and they have closed some stores. That’s what happens when you get greedy.

I don’t know if it was a direct result, but I complained to customer support about how incredibly messy and under stocked two of my local Dollar Trees were. I went in a week later and both of them had staff from corporate that were cleaning and stocking.

Unfortunately that’s what’s going on at my closest DT. I went yesterday and there were two dented boxes of the Resses Mini cereal sitting on the shelf. I took one and was going about my own business when and employee literally stopped me and asked me where I got the box. She openly admitted she had boxes on her cart because “it’s all my son will eat”. She basically admitted she didn’t put the whole case on the floor and was about to accuse me of taking product off her cart. It makes me not want to go back. Honestly if it wasn’t for the bakery seconds they get weekly, I don’t think I’d shop there anymore. They never have enough cashiers and this store is obviously not stocking everything they get
My favorite store was selling them as individual bars!!! It made me soo mad!! They must have had at least 50-60 of each flavor. I wasn’t happy when they went from $1 to $1.25 because that was a 25% mark up which is huge. Now they want to make stuff $1.50 which is another 20% increase. I know businesses need to make money but we all know their pockets aren’t hurting.

Dollar Tree is definitely changing in Florida, where I live. One of my favorite Dollar Tree, which has a dollar tree plus and items selling for $4.25, $5.00, $6.00, etc. Outside of the plus section. They also put scanners in the store so you can check the prices. When I go to this Dollar Tree, I don't even feel like im in a Dollar Tree. I feel like im in a Family Dollar or Dollar General. I do not like this. I only shop $1.25 items. Love all the good finds. I will definitely be on the hunt for the Mr. Beast bars.
Peace Tracy, rather than roll your eyes, is there a legit reason you can't correct/address the situation so the staff/stockers etc realize what they're doing is WRONG?
Those bars I haven't seen at any of my DT's, but I have seen DT open items & sell things for $1.25 each. I have also seen ppl from other states buy something for $1.25 & when I find it, they have it for a higher price. Also, I have seen where something is $1.25 & an other DT that's not to far from it sells it for higher. All those big packs of tie dye sets you ppl found for $1.25, well I only found them at one of my DT's, but they were selling them for $5. So, I didn't purchase them. I believe the manager made that decision. Not fair. Also, I don't understand why some of my DT's have the bread items for $1.25 & others for $3. I wouldn't waste my money on that coffee cleaner, when you can use vinegar to clean it. You get more vinegar for your money. Sometimes I'll see vinegar at Dollar General for $1. That coffee is delicious. My bf & I give it 2 thumbs up.

HI Lisa, haven't commented in a while now. Love your peanuts shirt. Would love to know where it came from. I have minimized my shopping due to the higher prices at DT but many things are still a bargain. I over shopped too many DIY items and my house is full of that stuff still (since the pandemic). Hence I only try to buy what I need or will use realistically. I was upset over the .25 increase but now I see so many other things that have really skyrocketed that .25 seems very minimal now. I would love it if you could call the DT home office and inquire re the DT policy of unpackaging and selling individual items from larger packaging. I can't say I have noticed it my stores (Bay Area, CA ) but I would call and complain if I did. Well, thanks for all you do! Enjoy your summer & the beach! 🥰
A lot of times the individual bar is labeled that is not to be sold individually so that is a clue they should not be opening the packages. I haven't found any Mr. Beast stuff.
I'm with ya about the great foodie finds and stocking up. When we eat out it's soooo expensive too. Love getting stock up Items as well. We tried the cookies my kiddos enjoyed them they are soft. Me I prefer the waffle cones lol

Hi Lisa! I work as a Stocker at my Dollar Tree and I think what's happening at some stores is the person who stocks the items doesn't look at the package count on the case. It tells you if things are sold individually or like a whole box or a six pack for example.

If they're anything like the manager at my store, they are probably overloaded with a ton to do and they may not have noticed. We haven't gotten those bars yet, but if we do, I will check the label and see what the actual count should be.
When they bought family dollar things started to go bad. They couldnt save F D so they are evolving DT into more if a FD. Also, when they hired the former Dollar General big wig things also started going downhill. I'm looking for dollar deals in other stores. Done with DT.
OMG!! I just paid $10 for that coffee pot descaler..exact same bottle! They shouldn't break open packages and sell the bars separately. My stores never get the really popular stuff. I have 3 stores in my city and not 1 got the Sesame Street COSMETICS!!! You got a great haul.

Yeah some stores are doing things the right way then others are not. I'm still not happy about the price increases either. 😭 Im still a dt shopper but very selective on what I do get. Gotta save money where ever we can. 🙂
It’s definitely gotten worse since dollar trees first came about I remember going to the dollar tree in the 70s and they had great things to choose from I got a metal mesh pasta strainer it’s vintage now and I use it all the time! It’s my favorite strainer I put it in the dishwasher too it never rusted or dented! SO GOOD 😊

I've been did my $2 trees and found those bars in their boxes full size. My son like the double chocolate one. I saw the cookies but they were peanut butter and I didn't think my kids would go for that
I look at it like Im either gonna deal with dollar tree and their small price increases or get stuck paying the ridiculous price at walmart or Target . I will never find the products I buy at DT anywhere for less than $4-5$. I despise Walmart , and Target is for wealthy people prices are ridiculous 😮 I will take DT and Dollar General anyday
I see a lot of videos and tik toks how dollar trees holds stuff for people of their choice in the back for example the dupe santitizer of the one at Ulta this girl said she seen one lady with a few of them and when she ask about them they said someone done put in for the whole box of them how can they do that. I think that’s why our dollar tree never gets anything good only what they carry on a daily. It gets annoying

Hi Lisa I had that happen with the 4 pk of flavored seltzer there are only 2 flavors and the 4pk is $1.25 plus deposit. I have twice in two different DT had people try to charge me $1.25 each can. They had to get managers involved to verify it is def $1.25 per 4 pk. 🥰

Hi Pookie I got thosemr beast feastables in a 6 pack honestly they can open them up and sell them individually they were gross 😂😂 the chic chip bar ones were so bad I couldn't even finish it but the lb choc chip cookies from same guy are delicious I love those 😉 I've seen what you're talking about the 15 pack water I got as a whole case but I saw those broken up sold individually 🤔 also those granola bars that was a box they cut them open and sold those too by bar so yeah I know what you mean its annoying when it comes in the store one way and you see it different at the $1 tree I love when I find things on clearance for .50 & .75 cents too great buys 😎
My local store sold these bars SINGLE… just as they did the 2 pack face masks. Made me so mad especially when I go down the road an hour and they sell them by the box/2pack. GET IT TOGETHER DT!

Did you see there is a new dollar tree on commercial st in south Salem. It’s by the Fred Meyer and Ace hardware. We just drove by yesterday after a Dr appointment.
I was thinking maybe some employees think they are meant to be individually sold considering what they are 🤷🏻♀️ maybe idk 😂 When I see stuff like this I tell them, in case they really don’t know. Very furious w/ my main DT. It has been a hot mess since January. New management too. The other DT says they trying but going on five months? Boxes everywhere. Carts everywhere. Mother Day stuff almost nil. Frustrating beyond belief.
:( we had a store get fined in Oregon for that! It was kinda bad! but I feel so bad for the employees I heard there hours are getting cut even more :( I don’t like the bad change at all! I love the Dt but sometimes it’s making me sad 😔
I don’t like the recent addition of prices printed on product wrapping, I feel it’s tacky. Also the shrinkage of quantity combined with the increase in price annoys me as it seems deceptive, examples the thank you cards now have four instead of eight so you’re paying 25% more for half as much. An increase of 150 %. Another example, coffee filters now have only 100 when they used to contain 150. There are still bargains but one has to be alert. I still enjoy the thrill of the hunt but I don’t like the direction this is taking.
I have heard that some of the things that are being hauled, the employees keep for themself which is fine, but they also sell on sites like ebay , and that's why we never see it in our store. I will say personally I have asked a couple times at two different stores for something I saw hauled and they look down and just say no we don't have it. I saw a video of a woman that wanted 4 hand santizers that everyone is hauling, she wanted them for her kids teachers she was fixing a teacher appreciation basket for them, and wanted to include that. she went to the DT and could not find them, as she was leaving she saw a woman with her husband leaving and she had several, so she asked where did you find that, and she said you have to ask the manager for it. so she went back in ask the manager and she brought out a whole box full of them, and she running her hand thru it like she was counting them, and then she said I can only give you 2. she said I needed 4 for my kids teachers, and she said I am sorry I can only give you 2. something is wrong here. and yes I have seen them break up boxes and sell things that should be sold in the box they came in.. sorry this is long. just wanted to vent since you wanted to know what we thought. thank you Lisa for your hauls and telling us on friday what not to buy. you help us all out..

I'm an ASM and everyday I do several eye rolls at what people do when they are putting the freight out.
Peace Tracy, rather than roll your eyes, is there a legit reason you can't correct/address the situation so the staff/stockers etc realize what they're doing is WRONG?
Those bars I haven't seen at any of my DT's, but I have seen DT open items & sell things for $1.25 each. I have also seen ppl from other states buy something for $1.25 & when I find it, they have it for a higher price. Also, I have seen where something is $1.25 & an other DT that's not to far from it sells it for higher. All those big packs of tie dye sets you ppl found for $1.25, well I only found them at one of my DT's, but they were selling them for $5. So, I didn't purchase them. I believe the manager made that decision. Not fair. Also, I don't understand why some of my DT's have the bread items for $1.25 & others for $3. I wouldn't waste my money on that coffee cleaner, when you can use vinegar to clean it. You get more vinegar for your money. Sometimes I'll see vinegar at Dollar General for $1. That coffee is delicious. My bf & I give it 2 thumbs up.

Hi, Lisa👋🏽 Dollar Tree will have a shortage of merchandise. In the next coming days. A DT Manager received an email saying that the trucks are being rerouted to Oklahoma. Due to the tornado touchdown at the warehouse. Hopefully, it won’t be too bad here in Michigan. Keep your fingers crossed.🤞🏽Ps. Dollar Tree New 2024 calendars is $1.50, not $1.25. It’s on their website😭

HI Lisa, haven't commented in a while now. Love your peanuts shirt. Would love to know where it came from. I have minimized my shopping due to the higher prices at DT but many things are still a bargain. I over shopped too many DIY items and my house is full of that stuff still (since the pandemic). Hence I only try to buy what I need or will use realistically. I was upset over the .25 increase but now I see so many other things that have really skyrocketed that .25 seems very minimal now. I would love it if you could call the DT home office and inquire re the DT policy of unpackaging and selling individual items from larger packaging. I can't say I have noticed it my stores (Bay Area, CA ) but I would call and complain if I did. Well, thanks for all you do! Enjoy your summer & the beach! 🥰
A lot of times the individual bar is labeled that is not to be sold individually so that is a clue they should not be opening the packages. I haven't found any Mr. Beast stuff.

I'm with ya about the great foodie finds and stocking up. When we eat out it's soooo expensive too. Love getting stock up Items as well. We tried the cookies my kiddos enjoyed them they are soft. Me I prefer the waffle cones lol

Hi Lisa! I work as a Stocker at my Dollar Tree and I think what's happening at some stores is the person who stocks the items doesn't look at the package count on the case. It tells you if things are sold individually or like a whole box or a six pack for example.

If they're anything like the manager at my store, they are probably overloaded with a ton to do and they may not have noticed. We haven't gotten those bars yet, but if we do, I will check the label and see what the actual count should be.
Hi Lisa, so we finally got those bars in and they are definitely labeled to be sold individually, not by the box.
When they bought family dollar things started to go bad. They couldnt save F D so they are evolving DT into more if a FD. Also, when they hired the former Dollar General big wig things also started going downhill. I'm looking for dollar deals in other stores. Done with DT.

OMG!! I just paid $10 for that coffee pot descaler..exact same bottle! They shouldn't break open packages and sell the bars separately. My stores never get the really popular stuff. I have 3 stores in my city and not 1 got the Sesame Street COSMETICS!!! You got a great haul.

Our DT has 4 Judy Blume books . It took a lot of self discipline on my part to resist purchasing them.
To clean my coffee maker I use white vinegar and water

Yeah some stores are doing things the right way then others are not. I'm still not happy about the price increases either. 😭 Im still a dt shopper but very selective on what I do get. Gotta save money where ever we can. 🙂

It’s definitely gotten worse since dollar trees first came about I remember going to the dollar tree in the 70s and they had great things to choose from I got a metal mesh pasta strainer it’s vintage now and I use it all the time! It’s my favorite strainer I put it in the dishwasher too it never rusted or dented! SO GOOD 😊

I've been did my $2 trees and found those bars in their boxes full size. My son like the double chocolate one. I saw the cookies but they were peanut butter and I didn't think my kids would go for that

I look at it like Im either gonna deal with dollar tree and their small price increases or get stuck paying the ridiculous price at walmart or Target . I will never find the products I buy at DT anywhere for less than $4-5$. I despise Walmart , and Target is for wealthy people prices are ridiculous 😮 I will take DT and Dollar General anyday
I see a lot of videos and tik toks how dollar trees holds stuff for people of their choice in the back for example the dupe santitizer of the one at Ulta this girl said she seen one lady with a few of them and when she ask about them they said someone done put in for the whole box of them how can they do that. I think that’s why our dollar tree never gets anything good only what they carry on a daily. It gets annoying

I agree with you that things are changing the prices are rising they are ceparating items is just sad because serting people go there for the deals and to safe some money specially with the economy being so high and groceries are overly expensive

Hi Lisa I had that happen with the 4 pk of flavored seltzer there are only 2 flavors and the 4pk is $1.25 plus deposit. I have twice in two different DT had people try to charge me $1.25 each can. They had to get managers involved to verify it is def $1.25 per 4 pk. 🥰

Hey sweetie them beast bars I bought them in a box the other day in one of my dollar tree so today I went one half hour away from me and they had cut off the top of the box and selling it for 1.25 a piece and then I went to another one and she said that the manager said that they supposed to sell them separately I was like I’m not paying 1.25 for them small bars she was like me neither I said well I got mine lol I found the whole set of the twist hair products u have a great night

I dont shop at dollar tree as much anymore mainly because my store is never fully stocked anymore.
Running vinegar through a coffee pot will descale it.

Hi Pookie I got thosemr beast feastables in a 6 pack honestly they can open them up and sell them individually they were gross 😂😂 the chic chip bar ones were so bad I couldn't even finish it but the lb choc chip cookies from same guy are delicious I love those 😉 I've seen what you're talking about the 15 pack water I got as a whole case but I saw those broken up sold individually 🤔 also those granola bars that was a box they cut them open and sold those too by bar so yeah I know what you mean its annoying when it comes in the store one way and you see it different at the $1 tree I love when I find things on clearance for .50 & .75 cents too great buys 😎

My local store sold these bars SINGLE… just as they did the 2 pack face masks. Made me so mad especially when I go down the road an hour and they sell them by the box/2pack. GET IT TOGETHER DT!

The staff use to be alot more friendly they must be overworked but it makes you not want to go in there i stop there because its convenient 😊

Did you see there is a new dollar tree on commercial st in south Salem. It’s by the Fred Meyer and Ace hardware. We just drove by yesterday after a Dr appointment.

Very furious w/ my main DT. It has been a hot mess since January. New management too. The other DT says they trying but going on five months? Boxes everywhere. Carts everywhere. Mother Day stuff almost nil. Frustrating beyond belief.
:( we had a store get fined in Oregon for that! It was kinda bad! but I feel so bad for the employees I heard there hours are getting cut even more :( I don’t like the bad change at all! I love the Dt but sometimes it’s making me sad 😔
I don’t like the recent addition of prices printed on product wrapping, I feel it’s tacky. Also the shrinkage of quantity combined with the increase in price annoys me as it seems deceptive, examples the thank you cards now have four instead of eight so you’re paying 25% more for half as much. An increase of 150 %. Another example, coffee filters now have only 100 when they used to contain 150. There are still bargains but one has to be alert. I still enjoy the thrill of the hunt but I don’t like the direction this is taking.
I have heard that some of the things that are being hauled, the employees keep for themself which is fine, but they also sell on sites like ebay , and that's why we never see it in our store. I will say personally I have asked a couple times at two different stores for something I saw hauled and they look down and just say no we don't have it. I saw a video of a woman that wanted 4 hand santizers that everyone is hauling, she wanted them for her kids teachers she was fixing a teacher appreciation basket for them, and wanted to include that. she went to the DT and could not find them, as she was leaving she saw a woman with her husband leaving and she had several, so she asked where did you find that, and she said you have to ask the manager for it. so she went back in ask the manager and she brought out a whole box full of them, and she running her hand thru it like she was counting them, and then she said I can only give you 2. she said I needed 4 for my kids teachers, and she said I am sorry I can only give you 2. something is wrong here. and yes I have seen them break up boxes and sell things that should be sold in the box they came in.. sorry this is long. just wanted to vent since you wanted to know what we thought.

If they are not labeled " not for individual sale" then they in fact can seperate them. Yes it does irritate me to no end.
