New-ish subscriber here 🙋 and I love the summer series and videos dedicated to specific notes. One of my favourite fragrance notes is lychee - not that uncommon, even if people don't really realize they are smelling it - would be lovely to see this jore highlighted in this series if you like it too!
Also I really appreciate that you include some interesting picks that I've never heard of, and some that are easily accessible so I'm not left feeling like all of your recommendations are impossible to get my hands on.
I think the way you described Sunflower Pop seems perfect for my next fragrance buy! Or Red Dakota as I think creamy gardenia would be very interesting paired with the clementine.
My favourite citrus is Sundrunk from Imaginary Authors - it has a fizzy sweet fanta kind of feel to it. It is juicy and sweet but not sharp or astringent, so no "cleaning product" vibe - it smells very round and fuzzy.
Also I want to say you're beautiful! You have such pretty features and your hair really flatters you. 😍

I found Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basil and Chloé's Rose Tangerine...and Kayali's Citrus 08.
The JUS bottle is so beautiful 🤩 gotta try it.
I live somewhere super humid, so citrus in the summer is my go to i adore Siesta Drive by navitus. It is classified as a citrus, gourmonde, which I think is super interesting, especially with the notes and the mascarpone note really threw me in a good way and that it smelled like super sweet lemonade on my skin that just got sweet but also a little bit like fresh lemon cheesecake. It has lemon in some capacity in all three parts of the note composition so it’s really stays lemony throughout, but just smells so so good and is my go to

I mix valaya with Goddess to add more sweetness. It smells like you layer sugar on top
Not very sophisticated but one of my favorite citrus smells is Weleda Skin Food (lotion). It smells like it just happens to have nice smelling ingredients versus intentionally fragranced. I wish there was a spray of it

I LOVE citrus fragrances but usually add some Vanilla 28. Off topic tho, I just purchased LeLabo Another 13 and somehow now....I can barely smell it. It was extremely Hot the day I bought it in store and it smelled great, I even got a compliment on the street that day. Now home, I can barely smell it. Do you know why that is?
I'll be honest, I far prefer your more normal and calm tone with these vids, over the more loud shorts personality.
There was a cologne by Creed that I loved. It smelled like an orange tree. I never found the fragrance again.
Citrus 08 is very pleasant
The only citrus fragrance I enjoy is Note de Yuzu by Heeley

@oliviaolfactory why do so many citrus fragrances use Bergamot? It’s not a citrus we run into familiarly in life, a less common citrus fruit.
