What a great partnership between UK and India, which will also hopefully flourish with Norton. There’s so much negativity about our heritage together but beautiful to see that India embraces and appreciates aspects of it enough to recreate it in such a sympathetic way. I really wish it every success and that we can strive to create other endeavours together.

A lot of companies will do a "retro inspired" bike, but I'm always looking for a bike that looks as close to the vintage model as possible. BSA seems to have achieved that. Looks decent, so nice to see the BSA tank badge back on the chrome sided tank, in my opinion one of the nicest tank badges of all, looks to have some nice bits Brembo brakes, ABS, nice uncluttered dashboard though the upside down speedo and rev counter will be interesting for some people, I like the brushed stainless exhaust it looks good, should be an interesting ride with a 650 single I'll have to take one for a spin when they come out, I can see it being a good seller with the boom in retro style bikes there's a lot of people out there that like the simpler styling of the 50's/60's bikes, all in all it looks really nice, well done.

My mechanic which is also an antique motorcycle restorer says he would not have my bike because of all the high tech garbage.LOL. But he will be the first to warn people who want to buy one of his restorations. He warns them they do come with their own headaches and not to be confused with a modern motorcycle. My engine is overbuilt and with proper maintenance and care will last a lifetime. I do agree with him that there is a lot more stuff to break, ie, on board computer, ride by wire, engine mapping, abs brakes, traction control etc. I do however find them at least for me a necessary evil if you will. Both traction control and ABS have saved my bacon before. I would prefer the bike break down rather than me if you get my jest:) Also, when i when i was researching the older classic MG, there was a lot of stuff i found to be deal breakers. Stuff like having to drop the bottom of the engine to change out the oil and get to the oil filter. Apart from my high tech accessories , my bike is pretty easy to do the maintenance.

Back in the 1950s when I was 20, our little group consisted of a BSA 500 Goldstar, an Ariel 650 twin, a BMW R69S 600 sport, A BMW 250 single and me on a BMW R50 500. I always fancied my pal's Goldstar and we swapped bikes one day. The vibration of the Goldie was absolutely shocking and we swapped back after just a couple of miles. OK, the two bikes are chalk and cheese but I only liked the look of the Goldie after that. The 250 BMW was also a shocking vibrator even though its' engine was rubber mounted. But with modern technology I presume the dreaded vibes are no longer an issue anymore. Incidentally, the R69S just beat the Goldie over a 1/4 mile sprint.

But who knows, cars I used to own in the late 60's 70's and 80's now also sell for many thousands today, but of course everything I personally owned then was made in the U.K.

Liking the idea of a mid-sized adventure tour model with that engine, upswept exhaust, higher `bars, more modern instrument panel, hard luggage, stepped dualset and cast wheels. Not sure if you have the rights to all the old BSA model names but Firebird would be spot on.

I got excited when I saw the original machines analogue Smiths clocks, it’s a shame it’s not air cooled as well, the rad detracts from the original handsome simplicity that they have actually captured very well.
Generally nice looking, especially the shape and size of the barrel and head, engine cases, and big bore pipe.
The nearer a manufacturer gets to the original aesthetics the better; legislation and safety considered, and the more I like it, this is perhaps the nearest yet.
    Nice job.

Not much to dislike with the bike, they seem to have done a good job in recreating the essence of the original Goldstar. The only thing that I'm finding a bit troubling is the exhaust, not keen on the style and it seems to have a huge header pipe that looks a bit out of place. Something to do with emissions perhaps?
    I'd certainly consider one.

Definitely euro emissions regulated :( However they did well as you can see they wanted to spread the Cat out as much as possible to keep the "Goldie" exhaust style. nicely done, however bring on an aftermarket straight through pipe ! How about HONDA bringing back the utterly fantastic cbx 1000 or cb750 or 900 ranges? They would compete with anything in style. Best looking muscle bikes ever, in everyone’s opinion! They have done it a few times but either been too pricey and or underpowered compared to other bikes. One example is the 2014-17 cb1100. I got a 2014 left over in 2017 and it was $5000 cheaper than new. They didn't sell well at 12,500$ when introduced. Also another thing was they advertised the hp at 80 hp. A magazine put one on a dyno and it got 82 hp. The Indian scout that was in the compassion was advertised at 110 hp yet dynoed at 82 hp also. If the just left the hp out of the advertising it would have been better.

My brother has had a good few of the cb 750’s, 900’s over the years, and I just love the way they look. They look like a big bike!👍

Great to see the BSA brand alive and kicking again....I love the bike...but some things I am not keen on....the rad is a bit bulky....would love to see more bare alloy on the engine.
But worse aspect....the placement of the rear number plate and tail lamp....to low down....and the 45deg angle of the number plate.....whats that about.....needs to be more vertical.
Front mudguard looks great....but the rear is to fat...to short and to high above the wheel.
May sound like I dont like the bike.....wrong....I love it and hope it sells real well and that the BSA brand is again a huge success.
But with attention to those comparatively minor things.....its winner.....ROLL ON BSA.
An Edit to add....Ashish why make the pressing in the head lamp bowl for an amp meter....and not fit one.....it would have looked so cool....yes add to the price but by very little....I bought one from india for my 2020 T100 Bonnie.....£13 GBP....looks great.....people often comment on it.....
I say again.....its a stunning looking machine.....please dont think I am being negative.....its just that it could be even better.
