- This week I made padsicles for postpartum! I've never tried this before so I am excited to test these out plus a little behind the scenes of my Baby Shower from last Saturday!

I wouldn't try any oils. They can be harsh to your skin, depending on your tolerance. I would check with your own OBGYN, before anyone tries this.
Girl your totally on the right path, I have done it with all my kids. It’s so relaxing to know your body is healing faster when you are using all those products and even better when it’s cold.

Yo tuve a mi bebé hace 5 meses y la verdad no sabía de esto igual que tú pero si recuerdo que en el hospital al aliviarme me dieron unas tipo wippes redondas y un sprite que ayudaban bastante con la inflamación y el dolor en el área , espero y te funcione y que todo salga bien primeramente Dios 💓
place a chilled witch hazel pad between a sanitary napkin and the wound. Use a squeeze bottle to pour warm water on your perineum as you're passing urine. I have never used lavender oils .

First time mom here and I remember watching this vlog when it first came out. I’m almost 37 weeks and preparing for my baby to come. I have my big pads, witch hazel, and aloe Vera ready to go! Can’t wait for my cuca to smell good too 😂😂 but also for the relief. Thank you Jacqui!!

Ive tried it in the past and they are amazing!! I didnt add any lavender oil to mine. And i added i coated them
With a thick amount of the aloe gel. Ur gna love them.

When I had my first daughter the nurse I had was the best... she would cut the pad threw the back and add ice cubes and tape it afterwards and it was a great relief i will never forget that after that I asked for my second daughter and they told me they didn't do that... I guess the 1st nurse was just very nice lady
Yessss those padsicles are the best o had my 4th baby and it was the best thing but I agree on the more witch hazel the better keep the spray bottle in a basket 🧺 with all the pads and that water bottle they give you in the hospital all handy next to your toilet the best advice I got it helps A lot girl!!
Rebecca Hernandez yeah I was gonna suggest keeping the spray bottle for when she goes to the restroom. Never tried these. I used the old squirt bottle and lining my pad with the tucks. And the spray lanoline I think it was 🤔 worked good I guess lol
I'm having my 2nd 1 after 11 years I'm so nervous I've never heard of this but sounds good. How soon would u say I start getting these ready

On all honestly what freaking aisle did you find that alo gel I LITERALLY can not find it any where I’m guessing it’s in medicine aisle right? I looked at Walmart and target. And I got that same witch hazel I heard it burns tho? But it was the cheapest one I can find lol I bought it cause I heard it would be good to put in your peri bottle!
Loved watching the whole video. I never knew about the pads...that seems cooling when you’re in pain. Thanks for sharing for mommies to be...I’m way past it. No se yo estudie aromaterapia y no creo que sea recomendable el aceite de lavanda tantas gotas directamente en la toalla ya que luego tendrá contacto directamente con la parte íntima y podría generar quemaduras o irritación, yo recomendaría mejor unas 10 gotas en el atomizador con el líquido transparente como base, pero así directamente no porque los aceites esenciales son muy concentrados 😔
Yo lo cambia por aceite de arnica. Sera mejor?
Yo use lo mismo en mi segundo parto pero no en mis toallas si no cada vez q iba al baño me hechaba primero agua y despues me hechaba hazel y despues aloe en crema y en dos dias ya me podia sentar sin ningun dolor ohhh y en mis toallas me ponia las rueditas frias que te dan en el hospital ya que de mi primer parto omg fue horrible tarde como un mes con dolor

Una pregunta no dará frialdad por lo frío mi mama me decía que uno no debe de agarrar frío porque te inflamas
No se de donde seas pero aquí en Estados Unidos en el mismo hospital te dan un spray que es frío y no causa ningún efecto secundario es para que sane más rápido 👌 no todo lo saben las mamás y las abuelas 😬
El frío desinflama y a la vez da sensación de relajación

Yo cuándo tuve a mi hija, me lavaron con agua tan fria que parecia como sí fuese agua con hielo, temblaba en cantidad.

Witch hazel es lo mejor para sanar haya abajo porque no tiene alcohol. Yo tuve partos en casa y solo puse el witch hazel en la bottle que te dan las midwifes. No se que pensar de el aloe porque esa que estás usando porque tiene color artificial y la lavanda puede ser irritante pero si eso te lo dijo la midwife puede que funcione.

Check with your hospital if they provide pads with ice. They work kind of like a glow stick. You bend them in half and the ice activates giving the best cooling sensation! My hospital provided them and it's the best! I took 2 packets home, no regrets! 😂

You did put enough oil and aloe vera but that wasn’t enough of the spray, it’s going to get absorbed to quickly.

I wouldn't recommend this. If so, just do t use lavender oil. I have four kids and all of them been natural labor and no epidural. I can tell you that last in one help alot because in got on in bathtub. And after labor it doesn't hurt when u go for the first time to use the restroom. Thanks God haven't felt the pain cus yeah some of my girls I know they have told me about the pain. I have no idea but my best wishes and besides you don't even think about pain after having your baby in your arms.. it's all worth it.. muchaaaaaa suerte..😊😘🥰👣🤰🤱🏻🤰🤱🏻👣👣🤱🏻🤱🏻🤱🏻
