I have drawn in meters 1:1 in model (a property 50x60), but when I scale the layot to 1:100 it becomes very very small. When I scale to 1:200 it becomes even smaller (cant see it on the screen) Can someone please explain to me what I have done wrong. 😭
If you have drawn in meters, you need to change the autoCAD settings to be in meters. I would suggest have the settings in millimeters and then scale the drawing x1000 so that it gets in millimeters. Now I think the autoCAD reads your 1 meter as 1 millimeter.

I have tried this over and over again, my model is not showing in my Viewport, I am in desperate need of assistance as my deadline is looming and I cannot be stuck on one sodding drawing!! Please can someone help me.
Try to dubble click on the 3D cube in the upper right corner "top". if your model dosen´t show, click the corners of the cube and look if it is drawn in the left, right, bottom view, then you might find it if it is not drawn in top-view. Otherwise you can also try "zoom to object" (like this: 2 min into the video: ua-cam.com/video/5fg2wAH3Fn8/v-deo.html)

Hi there, I have a question. I am trying to print a floorplan in paper space CAD but when I print the PDF has a long diagonal line that is across the whole pdf but this line does not exist in the drawing ( model and paper space) at all . do you know how can I solve this problem?
Might be that you have a frame around that needs to be deleted. You can also try to use the explode command to try separate polylines. Also you can try show and hide layers until you find when it show and when it doesn't.

What if you are drawing in centimetres? Because nobody does floor plans in mm.
If you draw in cm you simply go to “units” then select cm. After that AutoCAD will read the drawing as drawn in cm and will scale according to that.
