In Italy, Milan, you were lucky. The city has 3 similar sized airports. You picked the right one. The one in Brazil with the +55 you mixed up region and country code I think. 😉
My 3rd Game (I got second): 1st round: I found a sign saying 'Welcome to Hokkaido', so I guessed in Sapporo, but I got the wrong airport. 2nd round: I knew it was in Indonesia because of the signs and saw that a flight was to Jakarta so I went a random city and I got it right (Surabaya). 3rd round: There was a poster saying Gangwon so I searched in Gangwon-do and the airport's name but I didn't check the coast so I got close but wrong airport. 4th round: Couldn't find any clues so I went CDMX and it was right. 5th round: I found a sign that looked like one of the signs from the previous Sao Paulo round so I guessed there.
First game went pretty well. Got 3 right airports (rounds 2, 4 and 5), tho didn't manage 5k in any of them. The other two I was in somewhat right area, but missed the country on both of them. First round I was thinking Singapore, but then realized there wouldn't be domestic flights in such a small country, so it had to be either Indonesia or Malaysia. Unfortunately I was too late to change my guess at that point. 3rd round I didn't recognize the city name at that point, thought it had to be somewhere in China like you did. Got 18.9k total score. Second game started better, got 3 correct airports, one of which with perfect score. Fourth round I couldn't find the airport in time, but was in the right city. Last round I couldn't figure out which city it was (god dammit, I didn't even notice that Osaka International Airport text...), thought it could be some smaller one, but ended up going in Tokyo anyway. Just shy of 23.5k score. Third game wasn't as good. Started alright with a correct city guess, but didn't find the airport. Second round I again mixed Malaysia and Indonesia. Third round I thought it said Pyongyang on one of the signs so guessed North Korea, even tho it didn't really feel right (also completely missed that map...). At least managed to sneak in one perfect round at 4, but then had really bad guess in last round, even tho I was in the right country. Only just above 16k score. Fourth game went even worse. I did manage one perfect score on round 2, but does it even count when it was 3rd time having that airport in these 4 games XD Did get the right country in rounds 1, 4 and 5, but wrong city in all of them. Should've been more observant on the first round, didn't notice the mountains in the background, but the other two I didn't really have much clues which city it could be and ended up guessing the wrong one. Third round was the worst guess by far. Couldn't decide, if it was Brazil or Portugal, and went with the latter this time. Finished with 13.8k score.

Of course I go Florianopolis. (It was +55 47 by the way. 55 was for Brazil.) Challenge 4: No 5ks. Wrong Terminal in Taiwan, wrong airport in Sao Paolo and wrong city in the remaining rounds.
Yeah the number was +55 47 ... and it said Santa Catarina, Brazil. 47 is South Eastern Santa Catarina so I assume it was advertising for something there.
Some of these were nasty because they are locations in the 2nd or smaler airport of a city like Milans main airport, that's way to the west of the city. Osaka has a huge airport on an artificial island out in the harbour, Buenos Aires has a much bigger one to the south west outskirt of the city.
