Hello! Can I ask you a few questions? How do you like the sound of this amplifier? You seem sharp? Sounds like the vocals and timbre, they are quite a relief and volume? Is the middle saturated? Does it heat up too much during long listening, an hour or two?
I have been using 851N+851W for six months. For total cost less than HK$30K, I should not complain. But the pre-amp 851N is NOT exactly a real pre-amp instead it is a network player with additional pre-amp function. The sound analysis is not good. Finally, I changed the pre-amp to McIntosh MC2600 and connect 851W as the Amp. Very nice sound, especially in natural human sound, better analysis for high/mid/low frequency sound. Therefore I agreed Kwok Yan said the good sound come from 851W Class XD.
@@loobarry5766 thank you so much dude!! I'm struggling a denon amp or 851!! I've listened cxa80 and compared to some JP integrated amp, still Europe's amp win. Beside some high priced JP amp can race with it. It's very nice to hear some comments of a product I might buy. Thank you :)))

I'd be happy if they'd spend a little more money improving quality control from their factories - I've been lucky, but its obvious from the Stereophile review of the 851A and various Amazon complaints that they still have a ways to go.
@@arthurwatts1680 the amp puts out Class A up to point where it switches to Class A/B. The advantage is you get the smooth, beautifully detailed sound of Class A for much of your listening while not running out of gas when things get really dynamic.

GRF GTR 不是，其實用不用平衡要看廠家設計的方向，有些音響設計師喜歡RCA，就算夾硬做XLR都會比RCA差
